Jaden left his room, later on he arrived at his personal training ground. The previous owner of this body wasn't able to use all the resources available to him because of being a cripple but now that Jaden successfully became a cultivator, he can use it all. This training ground was built specially for him.
He came here to train in the most mysterious footwork skill – Lightning Shadow Steps.
Lightning Shadow Steps was, without a doubt, the skill with the highest rank amongst those he had besides Titan Overlord Fist and Rage God Body Transformation Technique. The problem was that it was partially ruined and was very hard to learn.
"Sky Devouring Palm and Nirvanic Eyes Technique are very powerful techniques. I just do not know how Lightning Shadow Steps will be.”
Jaden was full of expectations.
The same day, he started to ponder about Lightning Shadow Steps.
Jaden felt that although some of Lightning Shadow Steps’s moves were burned into his mind, which made it easier for him to understand after Vex provided the clear content of the book, it was not as simple to learn as Sky Devouring Palm or Nirvanic Eyes Technique.
“Lightning Shadow Steps is harder to learn than a peak middle ranked skill by at least two to three times….”
This was the conclusion given after he compared the skills.
Although it was hard, it did not stump him.
Jaden only used 2-3 days to understand the one fourth portion of Lightning Shadow Steps at a beginner stage.
He only used 6 days to achieve the “beginning level”.
Normal skills had 4 ranks that depended on how well trained one was in it.
These were: Beginner, Low, High and Peak level.
Beginner level equaled 30% of the max skill
Low level equaled 50%.
High level equaled 70%.
Peak level equaled 90% or higher.
Like Sky Devouring Palm, Jaden easily trained it to High level.
Lightning Shadow Steps had also been trained to beginner level in the same amount of time, but it was only one fourth of the skill.
Soosh!
Jaden’s body flashed, his body like a shadow moved in the air.
Peng! Peng!
His feet pushed off the branches and felt fabulous as he jumped.
At that moment, Jaden was like a shadow that happily jumped through the forest without making any sound.
“I have only trained Lightning Shadow Steps to the beginner level, but the speed of it far surpasses most middle ranked skills that have been trained to a high level.”
It could be seen that Lightning Shadow Steps far exceeded most high ranked martial art skills.
When there was extra time, Jaden did not forget to slowly decipher the rest of the book. Now he had deciphered half of the skill.
The only problem was that it took a lot of mental energy to do so.
This meant that ½ of Lightning Shadow Steps could now be learned.
After Lightning Shadow Steps reached a beginner level, Jaden started to train in Sky Devouring Palm and Titan Overlord Fist again.
This was because, although Lightning Shadow Steps was a high rank martial art skill, it only helped with his footwork and didn’t increase his cultivation much.
After training in a high rank skill such as Lightning Shadow Steps and then going back to training Sky Devouring Palm Titan Overlord Fist and Nirvanic Eyes Technique, Jaden felt that it had become easier and smoother.
After two days.
Nirvanic Eyes Technique had broken through to the second level- The Emperor's Eyes.
Sky Devouring Palm had reached the peak level.
At this time, Jaden closed his eyes and felt the power that coursed through his body. His strength was stronger than when he first reached the 1st stage of Foundation Establishment Realm by more than 50%.
“It looks like my cultivation has reached the peak of the 1st stage. I just need one more step to break through to the 2nd Stage.”
Jaden took a deep breath and controlled his excitement.
