CHAPTER 21- When the Past Tries to Ruin the Present

ALORA     “Follow me…” and took his hand, leading him to the family room.  I grabbed my favorite movie, Pride and Prejudice with Kiera Knightly, and turned to face him with a huge grin.  “Want to watch my favorite movie?”, hoping he’d say yes because I don't want him to leave just yet.     I saw him literally flinch, eyeing the movie warily.  “Do they speak normally or will I have to interpret?”, making both of us laugh.     “You’ve never seen this?  The we are definitely watching this!  No interpretation needed, I promise,” and  put in the movie.  I went to the fridge and grabbed some bottled waters, took a blanket out of a basket on the floor, and settled next to him on the couch, covering us up.     We sat next to each other as the movie started, but I felt I wanted to be closer, so
