I had tried. I had hoped that confessing to Cassiena about my dragon’s desire for her granddaughter would make her think twice. It had done the opposite. Even after telling her about my dragon spying on the human as she bathed, she was still adamant I should be the one to help her granddaughter. She even thought it was a good thing. What about this was good? My dragon was lusting after a human!
Cassiena feels certain that her granddaughter has a dragon, which would make things a bit easier to accept. If she were not just a human at least I could forgive my dragon for desiring her so much.
