Chapter 7 Saddle leather creaked as Asher and Bowie rode through the thick blanket of snow, their horses moving at a comfortable place. Neither of them spoke as clouds raced across the sky. The late December day was chilly yet bearable. The ride had been impromptu, the two of them striking out on a favorite trail, Asher on his beloved Titan and Bowie riding an Appaloosa gelding named Fidget.
