"Are you accusing me of mocking?" she frowned. "What I did was just to remind the three of you that you are disturbing the other workers," she refuted and I could sense the infuriation in her tone. I bet she couldn't accept the fact that someone fights back at her.
"Yes what you did is right," I paused a second "but to add sarcasm after I apologized to you is a different story," I retaliated and her eyes narrowed in exasperation.
"Lauren, let's continue looking for a tagline," Vern interjected our heated argument to avoid getting the attention of other workers.
"Stay away!" Becca exclaimed in anger. She even pointed her finger to Vern and that made the latter shivered. Few of the employees gathered around us because Becca's tone was clearly loud.
