Katherine gave her the same up-and-down glance that she had given her earlier beside the shore. Then Katherine turned around, puckering her lips. She smiled as she spun around to face that woman.
Those onlookers must have heard their chat since they are all chatting away like crazy. Feeling vindictive, Katherine finally got her retribution.
Katherine strolled toward the seashore, humming along. After a while, she strolled down the beach and settled onto a reef. Most people were now wandering around in pairs. Even though Katherine was by alone, she was happy, especially when she thought about the woman who was unable to respond with a single word.
