I had stopped by Penny’s on my way to pick up Hallie cause she wanted to see me for my birthday before I left. I had a feeling she knew I was lying about who I was going away with for the weekend with so on my way here I came up with a story without her realising I was talking about Hallie.
“You want a coffee or something?” She asked as we sat on her sofa
“No I am fine I need to leave soon.” I said
