Hallie’s P.O.V
I sat outside of the restaurant where I was meeting Penny and Deacon at. I have been for the last ten minutes, still thinking this is still not the best of ideas. Deacon had sent me dirty texts before I came here is not helping matters especially when it was things like.
Baby, I cannot wait to f**k you again
I have been sitting here and us f*****g keeps flashing in my head. It is making me all hard and horny, think I am gonna have to get myself off unless you wanna come to do it for me
That was only a couple of them. By the time I finished reading them I was all hot and bothered which is why I am more nervous about going in cause I swear as soon as I see him flashbacks of last night is gonna flash through my head. I cannot handle it. I knew I had to go in or Penny would be calling me, wondering where I am. I took a few deep breaths, grabbing my things and headed inside, looking for them. My eyes finally falling on them, my breath catching in my throat when my eyes fall on Deacon, dressed in jeans and a red tee. He always looked good in red.
His hair was slightly messy, not done the way he usually does it but damn it suited him. I found myself letting out a small moan only by looking at him. Why does he have such a damn effect on me? This is not right. He must have felt me looking at him, soon looking up. His eyes soon meeting mine, catching me looking at him, a smirk soon creeping on his lips. I hate that he knows what he does to me. It makes it so much harder to hide the way I used too. I pulled myself together, heading over to the table.
“I thought you weren’t coming.” Penny laughed, “it isn’t like you to be late.” She added standing to hug me,
“I know...sorry lost track of time,” I said smiling.
“Deacon,” I said acting like I was not f*****g him only this morning.
“Hey, Hallie.” He said, doing his best to stop himself from smirking when he did, “You want a drink?” he added.
“Coffee please," I replied.
He stood from the chair, going to get my coffee for me. His hand briefly brushing my ass he walked by. My breath hitching in my throat when he did. Did he not promise me he was gonna behave? I never believed it anyway, as long as he does not go far enough to make Penny notice what was going on.
I took a seat next to Penny, the two of us having a chat as we waited for Deacon.
“I have a date tonight.” She gushed at me, “Mind that guy I told you I met when I was getting coffee the other day?” she said, and I nodded, “he texts me now we have a date.” She added smiling widely.
“Yeah! Finally.” I said smiling back at her.
“Though one problem. Deacon wants to be there when he picks me up to meet him. You know what he is like. He is so protective and sometimes it isn’t for the best.” She said.
She was right, Deacon has scared more than one guy away because of the way he acted. He has always been that way though...overly protective of her. Yes, it can be a good thing but sometimes I feel sorry for her.
“Anything I can do to help?” She asked.
“Yes, could you be there too? Or find a way to distract Deacon from coming to my house?” she asked.
“I will see what I can do.” I giggled.
I know a way to distract him very easily, but I cannot share that with Penny.
“What you two giggling about?” Deacon asked joining us, sitting next to me, and handing me her coffee.
“Thanks.” I smiled.
“We are talking about my date.” Penny said, “You know the one you are probably gonna ruin before I get a chance?” she added annoyed.
“Penny if he can’t handle it and walks away then he clearly is not worth your time. If he wants this date enough then he will not let me scare him away easily...simple as that.” He said.
Penny groaned annoyed, throwing her hands in the air, and getting up, going to the loo to get away from him since she was annoyed.
“Can you not give the poor girl a break? How is she gonna learn if you don’t let her?” I said.
“It is what big brothers do.” He shrugged.
I decided to take one for the team. I placed my hand on his thigh, slowly running it up and down his leg, reaching into his ear, “I could think of something better for you to do.” I purred.
I feel him tense under my touch, his breathing becoming heavier.
“But if you would rather embarrass your sister,” I said pulling away from him.
“And what would this something better be?” he growled, his own hand running up my thigh.
“Me?” I purred at him seductively.
He grabbed my hand, placing just at his crotch.
“Think that gives you an answer.” He growled referring to the semi he had in his Jean’s, the feel of it making me let out a small whimper, “I don’t think you realise what I want to do to you later.” He added.
I moaned, pressing my thighs together to try containing the throbbing between my legs. We were quick to pull apart when we see Penny coming back. I acted like I was drinking my coffee...Deacon quickly looking at his phone.
“I won’t come over tonight, but I swear Penny of he turns put to be a complete asshole you better phone me and I will pick you up, after kicking his f*****g ass.” He said.
“Yeah! Thank you. I promise I will, but he seems like a nice guy.” She smiled happily.
She looked at me, knowing I had something to do with it. She had no clue how could see she appreciated it though. I gave her a quick wink, making us both giggle. Deacon shook his head at us.
“Where are you going for your date?” I asked her.
“That new Italian place that opened last week, can’t remember the name but you know what I am talking about.” She said.
“That place is meant to be incredible. What you gonna wear?” I asked.
“I am not sure yet, have a couple of options.” She smirked.
You could see Deacon getting really bored with our date night talk, he was making it very obvious.
“Is this what I need to listen to all through lunch? If so, I am moving seats.” He said.
“Fine, fine we will stop…Geeze.” Penny said rolling her eyes at him again.
“What you gonna do to tonight?” she asked me.
I needed to come up with an excuse to tell her could not exactly tell her I was gonna spent the night with Deacon.
“Gonna have a chill night with movies and pizza, I think. It has been a while since I have done that.” I said
Penny smiled, buying it. I seriously hate lying to her this way, at the same time I know I am not gonna be able to stay away from him, no matter how hard I try. Deacon knows that too. Here is to hoping that things do not get too complicated between us.
