She couldn't believe what had taken place. He'd taken charge, and for once she was okay with it. She had allowed another person to decide for her. A man who only had her safety in mind; it was a comfortable feeling, albeit one she wasn't used to. He followed her to the hotel. Once inside, his features were unchanged as he walked into the lobby with her and waited.
