I clutched the bedsheet tightly to keep my composure in front of my mother and held on till I hung up the phone.
I dropped the phone and allowed the tears I had been holding on to flow out.
"It really hurts so much , I said, clutching my throat in my hand in an attempt to ease the pain I was feeling.
I took a few shallow breaths trying to reduce the amount of pain in my throat, which made it hard for me to inhale normally.
