The men glanced around at one another. Had they heard Theo correctly? Surely he didn’t mean all of them.
“Sir, you want to kill all of them?” Joshua asked, trying to hide his hesitation. “Aren’t some of them children?"
“The youngest is Madison Beck. She’s seventeen and lives away from her family,” Theo said with a smirk. “She should be easy to kill. Unless you think a teenage human will put up much of a fight.”
“I’d be more worried about her demon father finding out,” Abbie said, her green eyes surveying the others at the table. “Even I’d be worried opposing Belinda and Leo Beck.”
“We’d be doing the Becks a favor,” Theo sneered. “His mortal daughter has been a stain on Leo’s family from the very beginning.” Abbie may be a powerful witch, but she was also an annoying person, always playing devil’s advocate. Leave that to the demons, he thought bitterly.
“Even so, family is family,” Abbie mused. “I’d be careful starting there, Theo."
The others could see Theo’s anger rising.
“Madison Beck will be dispatched of, Theo,” Joshua said confidently. “We’ll see to that, and then we’ll take out the others.”
