Chapter 24
HAILEY’S POV
The sun rays hit my face through my grey curtains. I squinted a bit and stifled a yawn. I stretched my hand to touch Rafael but my hands fell on an empty space.
I become fully awake and sat on my bed. Rafael was nowhere in vicinity. The door was opened abruptly and I was almost thinking it was him but instead, Sandra walked through the door.
“Why are you looking at me like that, have you seen a ghost or something?” Sandra hushed rather frustrated.
“Yea, I have seen a big ghost from mars,” I joked and chuckled in the end. Deep down I wished that the person walking into the room was Rafael. I had missed lying on his chest and that is what I started craving for. I wished that I could sleep on his chest each night.
