HAILEY'S POV
I followed him silently to the police car. I was happy that he had saved me back then. I really never wanted to waste my night sleeping in a police cell.
"Thank you once again,"I mumbled as he opened the car door for me to get in.
He didn't say a word therefore I remained silent. He got to the driver's seat and skillfully steered the car out of the VIP parking lot.
The silence was deafening so I decided cheer the mood up. He was silent as if he wanted to tell me something but again, he lacked the wits to do so. Maybe am wrong. Maybe he is just a quiet man.
Again, I will not fail to say that the girlfriend was one lucky lady. This gentleman is so calm.
