Chapter 13
RAFAEL’S POV
I was in the office for the night shift. The other boys were in patrol to put everything in order. I chose to stay in the office because I was not well. Since I saw Hailey with that man, my heart has never stopped feeling cold. I was hurting. I barely slept at night or even ate well.
I just ate junk and ordered food to be brought in the house. I was not this kind of man. I was the cooking type, I loved cooking my own food. Before I forget, my house is at its worse state. I was used to cleaning it every day when I am not in work but of late I had just ben tired. Nothing made sense anymore. I wanted to face her and ask her why she could do that to me but well, I was too shy for that.
