The Powerful Luna

Chapter 5

The next day at school, I was sitting at lunch with the boys. (Yes after some strict words from me, I was allowed to sit with whoever I wanted. but I still have the eyes of the warrior boys on me at all times but I will absolutely take the little wins when I can). 

I noticed heads bowing. Even the human boys I was sitting with bowed their heads, I don’t even know if they even notice what they are doing, or know why.

I start to swing around quickly to see what is going on, when I feel a hand on my shoulder. The instant sparks and his scent rush over me. It could only be one person.

“Its time to go gorgeous”

With that, he lifts me straight up from where I am sitting and twists me around to face him and sets me down on my feet in front of him. My petite frame tiny against his masculine one. He pulls me close and lands a massive passionate kiss on me. I know he is just trying to show that I belong to him. He pulls away, I blush bright red completely embarrassed by this public show of affection. He nods at all the boys I am sitting with, probably just to make sure they know who I belong to. He wraps his arm around me a guides me out of the room. I feel all eyes on us.

Everyone knows Axel, not just the wolves the humans as well. He was here at school last year. He was always popular, all the guys wanted to be like him and all the girls wanted him.

I slap him playfully on the arm, he is so over the top but somehow I love it.

“Was that necessary? You could of just called”

I ask, his whole face lights up with a smile that could melt peoples eyeballs with sheer beauty.

“I just had to let everyone know you were taken, so no one would even think about trying to get with you. So I thought I better come pick you up myself”.

He says as he opens the passenger door of the car and helps me in. We set off back to the pack house. I literally have no I idea what to wear to a meeting between alphas. I was never very good at being official or keeping any sort of authority in my voice. I am generally pretty un-luna like.

I finally decide on a linen navy high collared shirt, buttoned up to top button and some faded denim jeans. I tie my hair up in a pony tail. Letting the long brown waves sit where they want. I finish off the whole number with some black converse shoes as I don’t want to get too formal.

I walk to Axel’s office, I am greeted by both Axel and Jasper. Jasper just sits to the right of Axel on the main side of the desk. On my side near the door are 3 seats facing Axel.

“Did you want me to sit on one of these?”

I gesture toward the chairs in front of me.

“No way Jade, You’re over here as close to me as possible,I would have you sitting on my lap but that may be a bit weird”

I don’t even have to say it, Jasper says it for me.

“You think?”

We all laugh. I don’t argue, I just walk around behind Axel. He swivels his chair around and looks straight at me admiring me from head to toe, he gives me a quick peck on the lips.

“You look perfect babe”

I smile at him but I feel uneasy. It is not very often that Alphas meet and when they do I have never heard of a Luna being involved.

There is a knock at the door. Axel swivels back around to face the door and puts his game face on.

“Enter”

It is like all of a sudden I know what to do, I stand just to the left of Axel and place my hand on his shoulder. A steely impression on my face. I actually start to feel like a badass Luna.

The door opens and in walks Alpha Elijah and his second and third in command. He introduces his men. Alpha Elijah has slicked back blonde hair. A sharp face, long crooked nose. He just generally looks like a creep. There is nothing handsome or kind looking about him. I get an uneasy vibe off him straight away.

Axel says while indicating to both of us.

“This is my Beta Jasper and this is my Luna Jade”

I nod politely to him never losing my steely expression. He looks at me and frowns. Then sneers.

“I don’t really think women are really needed in this scenario, why don’t you get to the kitchen love and make the men some snacks”

Axel slams his fist on to the desk and growls.

“You have your second and third in command and I have mine, please in the future only address my Luna with the most utmost respect.”

“Sorry Alpha Axel no disrespect intended”

I can feel Axel’s presence in the entire room. I have never felt his powerful alpha aura like I could at that moment. It was like his authority was unquestionable. I know that Elijah had nothing on him which is why he backed down so easily. Alpha Elijah still kept me in a furious glare. Did I blink or look down to submit to him, no way in hell. 

Axel finally says.

“Well shall we continue?”

They discussed treatys, the on going problem with rouges, the possible conflicts that could arise between packs and all sorts for hours. Not once did my hand leave Axel’s shoulder. I felt powerful with him. I think he is right we are meant to lead together. Hand in hand we are a force to be reckoned with. 

The meeting is finally over so we leave the office and walked them out. I keep a tight grip on Axel’s hand, keeping as far away from Elijah as I can. I have not warmed up to him in the slightest during his visit and from the look of disgust plastered on his face every time he thinks Axel isn’t looking I can tell he feels the same way.

As we were bidding our farewells. Alpha Elijah suddenly grabbed my hand and kisses it. He breathes deeply. He can smell my strength and my authority and most of all my lack of fear of him. Even the mere act of him sucking in the air around me makes me cringe. I look in his eyes, I see instant lust there. He holds my gaze and says slyly his voice dripping with lust and filth.

“You know I had heard rumors of an incredibly powerful Luna in this pack, Now I have met her myself I feel that the rumors are true”.

He is still holding my hand in his. My face shows no emotion even though all I want to do is gag. He tries to pull me closer but I stand my ground pulling myself back from him, planting my feet hard to the soil so that he can’t move me an inch. That doesn’t help because he moves his face to near my ear. His voice is so low and I am guessing is meant to seductive but it might as well be nails on a chalkboard for how bad it sounds to me.

“You are a very sort after prize Luna Jade”

Just before I start to raise my leg to kick him off me, Axel lets out a powerful earth shattering growl and I can feel the ground tremble under our feet, small rocks on the ground actually jump around from the sheer force of the noise. His eyes turn black and his canines elongate. 

"Get your hands off my mate or you be sorry Elijah"

Alpha Elijah finally releases my hand, and I let it drop to my side. My hand feels dirty after the slime ball touched it I desperately want to wash them. But I don't let the disgust show on my face.

I finally speak.

“Alpha Elijah, Beta Daniel and Gamma James, thank you for your visit. Please make your way back to your vehicle and leave the pack grounds immediately”.

I nod politely. They nod in return and they turn away and walk back to there waiting car. I place a hand on Axel’s chest, I feel the power around him. With my hand on his chest I feel his heart beat instantly start to slow. I look in his eyes. Back to blue. I whisper in his ear. His growl still seems to be vibrating through my body, every nerve is alive seemingly pulsing with energy, the energy is all directed at one thing. Axel. My neck feels like jelly,like I cannot possibly keep my head upright any longer, wanting to submit to him so badly.

“Take me now Alpha”

He looks at me, he sniffs he can smell my arousal, his eyes flick back to black as his breathing is so deep and almost raspy as he nearly drinks the air. I don’t have to ask him twice, he picks me up bridal style and carries me back to the house without looking back.

I glance back at Alpha Elijah getting into his car, a smirk covering his face greasy face as he watches us. I feel a shiver go down my spine. What a creep.

Training increased after Alpha Elijah visit.

Not just mine. 

Every ones.

Axel's unease is growing. I only just managed to stop him pulling me out of school. I have increased security around me at all times. 

I didn't argue, even though I have the feeling of being constantly crowded and constantly surveilled. 

I feel Axel’s unease as well, it is like sickness infecting everyone around him, his worry and possessiveness purely focused on me. There is little I can do to ease his concern, I just train hard and be around him as much as possible, we haven’t been arguing at all, I just try and keep him calm. I don’t know whether it is his paranoia rubbing of on me or I can feel it too, but I just keep feeling like something bad was on the horizon. Axel and I have worked hard on our separation problem. He has managed to get a fair distance from me now. But after we reach our limits, we have to lay in each other's embrace for hours to feel normal again. Every single night we do it, we push it to the point that I actually spit out a mouth full of blood. I clean it up before Axel gets back to me and I don’t let him know as I don’t want to add to his anxiety. It effects me so much more than it effects him.

Axel was starting to call meetings with other alphas trying to gauge the situation. I never actually thought I would meet so many alphas ever.

He always said you have to see the look in a man's eye before you can really understand what's in his head.

The only problem with the situation is that he can't leave me. So I am with him every step of the way.

"Babe we have a meeting to go see Alpha Tyler in 3 days"

I raise my eyebrows.

"You want me to come with you?"

"You are powerful babe, I am stronger with you than I am without you, and anyway what other choice do we have?"

I shake my head, he is right. We just can't be that far apart yet.

Over the next 2 days I had never trained so hard in my life. My wolf is getting so strong and my human can now actually beat Jasper. He is unimpressed about that situation but I have never been so happy in my entire life.

The best bit is that I am starting to actually be a bit of competition for Axel. So some of training had to be done in private as that man gets crazy turned on by a bit of competition. Who would of thought laying punches and kicks on him would drive him wild with desire. So safe to say a few of our training sessions ended up pretty hot and heavy, because truth be told I am not much better, seeing him all sweating with his shirt off, his strong muscles twitching with his movements as sweat glistens on his tanned skin, his wild strength and dominance and the skills that he possesses.

Anyway I digress.
