Tina made the trip to the hospital, where Rae was still looking after Miriam. It didn’t look like Miriam was going to be interested in eating soon, but Tina left both containers in the hospital anyway, even if Rae would eat both.
Rae said she would stay in the hospital. She didn’t make any comments on Miriam’s state.
Tina told Rae to make sure that the main entrance to the hospital was locked, in case Vito wanted to create trouble.
“If they’re partners, he’s legally able to see her if he wants to press the matter,” Rae said.
“Don’t let him in. Make some sort of excuse. But just lock the door. Please.”
Rae said that she would need to get the approval from the Captain to do that, but that, failing the Captain, Aliz would have to do.
