Chapter Eleven
Tina couldn’t believe how glad she was to see him. She made her way across the hall.
“Finn!”
She hugged him tightly, breathing the familiar smell from inside her ship.
He kind of awkwardly held her.
“I didn’t think you two were that close,” a male voice said. It was a familiar voice, but yet…
Rex had grown even more than she had imagined. What was more, his harness expertly dealt with weightlessness, and he didn’t appear as clumsy as everyone else.
“Did you miss me, too?”
Tina hugged him, a very hard hug of plastic panels and metal.
She touched his face, feeling the rasp of stubble on his chin. Her son was a man, and no longer a boy.
Thor and Jens also came out, followed by Rasa. Everyone was smiling. Despite all their troubles, the world suddenly looked brighter.
