Evelle took Tina to the suiting area. Apparently it was not possible to fly the ships without wearing the elaborate pressure suit that pilots wore during proper sorties.
“I know it’s a bother to dress up just to move the ships a small distance, but the suit connects with the ship’s navigation, and you don’t have full control of the ship when you’re not wearing it,” Evelle told her.
Well, so be it.
Just putting on the bottom half of the suit required assistance from another person because of the clips that needed to be done up and checked on the back, and because trying to do this in Zero-G made it hard to exert any kind of force. The legs of the inner suit were very snug and infuriating to put on.
