India, 1800
In a far-off kingdom, there was a princess named Meena. She was the youngest of five siblings and was the only daughter of King Vajra and Queen Aruna. Her mother was a fierce warrior who had led many battles and had a reputation as one of the best fighters in the kingdom.
Growing up, Meena watched her mother and the other women warriors train every day. She was fascinated by their strength and agility, and she wanted to be just like them. Her mother encouraged her interest and allowed her to watch the training sessions from a safe distance.
As Meena grew older, she became more determined to learn how to fight. She begged her mother to let her train with the other women warriors, but her mother was hesitant. She feared for her daughter's safety and didn't want her to be hurt.
However, Meena was persistent. She pleaded with her mother every day until finally, her mother relented. She would allow Meena to train, but only under one condition – that she would be trained by the best warrior in the kingdom, Durga.
Durga was known as the fiercest warrior in the kingdom. She had led the army in many battles and had never been defeated. She was feared and respected by everyone, including the other women warriors.
Meena was excited and nervous to train with Durga. She knew that it would be a difficult and challenging journey, but she was determined to prove herself.
For the next several years, Meena trained with Durga every day. She woke up before dawn and practiced her sword fighting, archery, and hand-to-hand combat. She trained until her muscles ached and her body was covered in bruises, but she never gave up.
Durga was a strict teacher, and she demanded perfection from Meena. She pushed her to her limits and beyond, but Meena never complained. She knew that this was the only way to become a true warrior.
As the years went by, Meena grew stronger and more skilled. She became a master of the sword, and her archery skills were unparalleled. She could out-fight anyone in the kingdom, including the men.
The other women warriors respected Meena and looked up to her. They were amazed by her strength and determination, and they knew that she was destined for greatness.
One day, the kingdom was attacked by a neighboring kingdom. The enemy army was led by a fierce warrior who was known for his brutality and strength. King Vajra knew that they were outnumbered and outmatched, and he feared for the safety of his kingdom.
However, Meena was not afraid. She knew that she had trained for this moment her entire life. She gathered the other women warriors and led them into battle.
Meena fought with everything she had. She swung her sword with precision, dodged arrows with ease, and took down enemy soldiers left and right. The other women warriors fought alongside her, and together they were a force to be reckoned with.
In the end, the kingdom was victorious. The enemy army was defeated, and Meena emerged as a hero. She had saved her kingdom and proven herself as a true warrior.
After the battle, Meena was honored by her father and the people of the kingdom. She was given the title of "Warrior Princess," and she became a legend in her own time.
Meena had achieved her dream of becoming a warrior, but she never forgot the lessons she had learned. She knew that strength and courage came from within, and that true power came from the heart.
But things would soon change after the arrival of the Europeans. They began their political games and soon tool over most of the kingdoms in the country. Meena was only 19 years of age as she saw her father's kingdom being slowly sabotaged and plundered by the Company men. They tricked the old king and put on hefty taxes and burdened him with strict rules. The once glorious king was now living off of pension from the governors...and he had to do their bidding or else he would lose what was left of his estate. He was hence given the title the Nawab of Shahpur and acted as a puppet ruler for the company.
Meena was furious at this disgrace and vowed to restore her kingdom to its former glory. And the only way to do this was to fight back. But fate had other plans... she was destined for a far greater purpose!!
The day she met Carey, was the day that everything would change. Even though she was a runaway and she had plans of her own but travelling with Carey and witnessing his purpose made her almost forget about her own. She had now travelled with him halfway across the country and faced numerous adventures together. But her heart would get heavy when she thought about her father and her kingdom.
She soon realised that finding Shamballa and harnessing its powers was the only way to truly fight back. She had no army and no weapons now and all the other allies were almost subjugated by the Company. This... this was the only way. She often wondered what sort of magical weapons might Shamballa possess...what glorious army of the ancients awaits her. Maybe of she could convince them to fight alongside her then it was possible to get rid of alll the foreigners in the entire continent. But this was easier said then done.
For now she was stuck in the highly dangerous terrain of the Himalayas fighting to survive, wondering what monstrosity lurked in those icy corners. The cold stung her face and her lips cracked, the rags she wore were somehow keeping her warm. She believed in Carey and his obsession to find Shamballa , whatever the situation right now, she believed in a better future... a bright one ... for her and her country... little did she know, the future held some grim suprises.
