Another Good Dream

[Jaxon]     I woke when I felt something rubbing on me. It was dark and I recognized I wasn’t in my room at Bobbi’s. There was a moment of confusion before I remembered, I was in Juniper’s bed.     She was grinding her body against mine. It looked like she was still asleep. Slight moans and whimpers were coming from her. I started to get aroused. I had to wake her up before she woke up on her own and thought I was doing perverted things to her.     “Oh, god, Jaxon. Just like that, honey. Mmm.” Juniper breathed against my chest. I froze. That was unexpected. I felt her hand reach down between us and start moving as her breath quickened.      She chanted my name like a mantra. Her lips were so close to my skin; I could feel them brush my chest as she got more excited. There was no indication she was awake at all or even registering that she wasn’t alone.     When she reached her climax, she called out my name loudly and arched against me. Her breath came in pants as she wrapped her arms around me and snuggled into my side. I could feel the dampness of her fingers on my waist. There was no hiding the erection that was screaming for its own release.     “I love you, Jaxon.” Juniper sighed and kissed my chest.     I covered my eyes with my hand. Nothing like that had ever happened to me before. I almost laughed. She loved me, too. I couldn’t believe it.      I remembered what Teddy said about not getting any sleep Friday night. He asked what I’d done to her. Grinning, I realized she’d dreamed of me that night as well. I was the guy she was telling Amber about on the phone.     After a while she relaxed and I was able to squeeze out of her grasp to head to the bathroom and take care of my situation. When I left, I heard someone in the kitchen. It was Gary, getting a glass of water. I went to get one, too.     “Hey, Jax. Havin’ a good night?” He chuckled.     “Did Teddy tell you about her sleep… talking?” I asked.     He laughed. “He said she never did that until she met you. He’d hoped she wouldn’t have a nightmare tonight, but he was dreading one of those dream just as much. You didn’t do anything, did you?”     “I didn’t. God knows I wanted to, though. She said she loves me.” I smiled and took a deep drink.     “Well, that’s good. Are you ready for how messy this is going to get?” Gary said between sips.     “Absolutely. I’m going to make sure she’s safe. Are you joining us then?”     “Can’t let my new boyfriend take this risk alone. Not when it’s the kinda thing I’ve been doing for years. He’s so protective of his family. I fuckin’ love that.” He beamed.     “So you’re official then? Not just a fling?”     “Yeah. He’s exactly my type, gorgeous, sweet, and caring. Plus, your brother-in-law just hired him to take over for the business manager here. She’s having a baby and decided she’d rather be a stay at home mom. So he has a good job and won’t be depending on me to take care of him.” Gary explained.     “That’s great news.” I patted his shoulder and put my glass in the sink. “I’m gonna head back to bed. Have a good night.”     Gary laughed again. “Oh, I will.”     I shook my head and returned to Juniper, sliding into the bed. She’d rolled over again and was sleeping peacefully. I slipped my arm over her waist and pulled her to me, cuddling into her delicious backside. At least this way, I could keep her from rubbing on me like earlier.   **** [Juniper]       When I woke Monday morning, I thought I was alone until I looked over. Jaxon was curled up on the far side of the bed. It was cute. I didn’t know when he needed to be up to get home and dress for work. I touched his shoulder and he pulled away.     “Jaxon.” I said softly and tried shaking him.     “Not again, Juniper. Please.” He murmured sleepily.     I was confused for a second, until I realized what happened. The dreams I’d had the night before came rushing back to me. Teddy’s comments on Saturday morning, and Tammy’s conversation with him on Sunday morning started running circles in my mind. What had I done? He seemed a little mad.     “I’m awake, Jaxon. I just wanted to know when you had to get going to be ready for work on time. Do you need a ride home? It’s a bit out of my way, but we can leave a little early if you want.” I responded. I was so embarrassed.     “Teddy’s gonna give me a ride home. Go to school. Let me sleep.” Jaxon waved me off and pulled the blanket tighter around him.     I got out of bed and pulled my clothes for the day, blue jeans and a lilac knit polo, out of my dresser. Crossing to the bathroom, I dressed, straightened my hair, and put on a little makeup before returning to my room. My backpack was in the closet and I had to retrieve my homework pages from the purse I’d used on Saturday.      Once I had it packed, I looked at the time. There wouldn’t be any problem if I grabbed a little food first. I knew we only had leftovers from the night before, but it was something.     Grabbing the nearly empty bowl of mixed fruits, I picked through with a fork by the sink. There were a few empty water glasses in there. I’d take care of dishes when I got home. I quickly noted that I’d have to go grocery shopping or we’d be eating the meager leftovers for dinner. Teddy’s door opened as I was rinsing my bowl.     “Good mornin’ Juni-bug.” Teddy said softly as he closed his door. “Did you sleep well?”     “I had that sleep talking issue again, it would seem.” I blushed.     He laughed. “Yeah, when I saw Jaxon at four he asked if I could give him a ride home around nine so he could be back here by ten. I just got off the phone with Red. I’ll let him know Red gave him the day off when he wakes up. Oh! You missed the big news.”     “What is it?” I asked.     “I’m gonna be the business manager for the ranch! They said I can live here for as long as I work here or until I buy a house of my own.” Teddy grinned.     I came around the counter and gave him a big hug. It was the best news I’d had in a while. Teddy deserved to have a real life, I’d taken too much from him.     “Make sure you let Wendell know. I’m gonna be late if I don’t leave now, but we should celebrate. How about tonight? I can pick up the stuff for your favorite meal and buy a cake.” I offered as I pulled back and went to pull on my shoes.     “We’ll need to hold off on that, Juni-bug. You have tutoring tonight, right?”     “Yeah. I work with Kelly right after school. Then I was going to go to the store and come home.” I told him.     “No. You tutor Kelly, then come straight home. No detours. Hank’ll be out of jail by the time you’re outta school. We’re goin’ to a meetin’ tonight. You have to come with so we can make sure you’re safe. We’ll have pizza. You can buy breakfast at school tomorrow. In the mornin’, Gary will officially start as your bodyguard. Until Hank’s in prison, I don’t want you goin’ anywhere alone. He’ll drive you to and from school to the store and around to your club and your jobs. Now, get goin’ no arguments.” He commanded.     I sighed and headed out the door. This was even more restrictive than before. I understood, but I didn’t like it. Getting in my Metro, I prepared myself for the last week of regular classes. Tutoring this week would be test prep. No homework this week. Lots of papers and projects due, though. Thankfully, I had completed mine early. I couldn’t imagine trying to finish a project with how my life had been upturned.
