Maria's POV: I turned my face away and strode out leaving him alone with the girl. The pain was so intensive that even the zephyr failed to soothe the ache I was feeling in my heart. I got in the car and waited for Armaan to come and drive me back to the tower. The door opened and then closed indicating his arrival. I didn't look in his direction because I didn't want him to witness the pain my husband had presented me. I didn't want him to look at my tears. He ignited the engine and we drove out of the parking lot. He didn't say a word that was really strange.
