BRIANNA'S POV
The soft noise from the TV filled the quiet living room as I tossed another handful of popcorn into my mouth. I was laid out on the couch, legs tucked beneath me with a cozy blanket wrapped around me.
The movie playing on the screen was one of those cheesy horror flicks that always seemed to draw me in despite how predictable they were. It wasn’t the most original way to spend an evening, but with the triplets away at the palace to apologize to the Alpha, it was the perfect way to unwind. I was at their house waiting for them.
“Woof!”
I jumped slightly, a piece of popcorn flying from my hand in shock. It was Ghost. He wagged his tail, smiling at me.
“Ghost! You nearly gave me a heart attack!” I said with a laugh. I picked him up and sat him beside me on the couch.
