" What?"

" You are to leave with the vampires tonight. Prepare yourself" those were the only words Alpha Logan threw my way before walking out of the house. I was in deep shock. Both my mother and father were also in similar states.

" What is happening?" Her mother was the first to break off the silence. There was a worried expression on her face. " What did Aloha Logan mean by that? Why is he sending my daughter to the vampires?"

" There has to be a good explanation for this. I will go speak with him." Her father gave me a slight glance from the corner of his eyes before chasing after the Alpha.

My heart was beating fast against my chest, this was normally how my panic attack starts. My mother was too lost in her thoughts to pay mind to me, I didn't want to worry her further so I excused myself and walked up to my room. I slid to my knees the moment the door was closed. No no no...this couldn't possibly be happening.

What had the vampire prince said to the alpha that he was willing to give me away like this? Did nobody remember that I was to be mated to Damien? Could it be that the prince had realized that I had put something into the drink? Was I being taken away to be punished?

All those questions ran through my head making me even more fearful with each passing second. I reached into my pocket with shaky hands and brought lit my phone. I was in the process of dialing Suzy's number when a knock sounded on my door. I took in a deep breath before pushing myself to a sitting position, I unlocked the door only to see my father standing in front of me. There was a slight frown on his face as he addressed me.

" I have spoken to the alpha " he began " It seems you have caught the attention of prince Adrian . He has asked the Rosette pack to mate you to him"

" And the alpha agreed?"

" What else can he do? The Naelex Coven is very powerful, plus this is also a good opportunity to establish a close relationship with them. It would be beneficiary to the Pack"

" Have you all forgotten that I am mated to Damien" I spat angrily? I couldn't bring myself to comprehend why Alpha Logan would ever agree to give away his son's mate to someone else. Was he so power-hungry? Or was it that I was of little importance all along?! " And what about me? Does nobody care about what I want!?"

My father barely looks affected by my anger. Even when my eyes become blurry with tears he doesn't bother offering words of comfort to me. He has always been like this, always putting his Pack and Alpha first before anything else. Sometimes I found myself wondering if I was his daughter, if so why didn't he care about me? Why didn't he ever defend me or protect me?

" First of all, it was Damien who had explained everything to me, he says it makes little difference to him if you mate to him or someone else. Secondly, you should consider yourself lucky. To be chosen by such a powerful person like prince Adrian is a blessing"

" I don't want this. Father please...if you ever cared about me then please don't let the alpha do this"

The man turns his back to me. He does this whenever he didn't want to argue further on a topic. " Come downstairs. You don't need to take anything with you"

I choked back a sob. Why did this have to happen? Did I have anyone to blame apart from myself? Damn that Suzy! This is all her fault. If only she had never proposed that silly idea of her's then none of this would have happened!

I found Damien waiting outside my house. One look at his face and I could tell he was trying to hold back his anger, he walked towards me with menacing steps. I almost had the urge to hide behind my father when I realized that he hadn't come out with me. He was in the house working on counseling my mother. He seemed more worried about her breakdown than mine.

" Damien.." I began to say but Damien gripped my jaw in a painful grip. I winced as he glared down at me with a murderous glint in his eyes.

" You damn slut" he hissed " You slept with him didn't you? You f****d him and now he wants to keep you!"

" No, no that's not what happened..."

" f*****g b***h! I should have just f****d you and then toss you away like the rest. Who knew that you were quite ambitious, even using your dirty tricks on the vampire prince? Do you know, he's going to f*****g use you and then get rid of you, you don't think that he wants to mate with you right? He can have any woman in the world, you might have only caught his attention because of how tight you were down there" Damien laughed sinisterly in my face. He didn't seem to care about the hurt in my eyes or the tears that ran down my face. " Damn, I should have f****d you when I had a chance"

Damien looked down at me with obvious lust. A shiver ran down my spine when his hand went to grab a fist full of my behind, this caused me to move closer to him and I was able to feel his bulge rubbing against my thigh...

" Maybe we could still..."

" Dame" A voice called out behind me catching Damien's attention. I didn't even need to look behind me to know who it was.

" Camila, baby" Damien's face lit up and he was pushing me aside in seconds. He walked over to the woman and wrapped his arms around her. She moaned shamelessly as he rocked slightly into her. " f**k, am so horny right now. How about we go somewhere private?"

" Mm, anything for my alpha" she leaned up and captured his lips. I was frozen in my position as I watched the two make out. I can't recall how many times I had walked in on Damien making out with someone, but this one was particularly painful.

" Walk yourself to his car, don't keep your master waiting," Damien said to me causing Camila to giggle. They both walked away at a fast pace to continue their s****l activities somewhere else. I cursed under my breath, f*****g asshole!! At the moment I was grateful that Damien hadn't taken my love potion. Sure he would be in love with me by nighttime but what of during the day, would I have to live the rest of my life feeling unsure whether my alpha loved me or not?

I wiped off the rest of my tears and walked towards the expensive cars parked at the far end of the pack house. There were three cars in number and to be honest I didn't know which one that vampire was in. I could feel eyes following my every movement so I didn't dare look back. I took in a deep breath and headed in the direction of the first car I noticed. I got into the backseat and tried not to shiver as six pairs of eyes turned to me

While both of the men seated in the front were staring at me with confusion, the prince beside me looked delighted. So at the end of the day, I had picked the right car, after all, only now I wished I hadn't. Not with the way he was staring at me, it reminded me of the way Suzy looked at her ice cream before eating it up.

" Who are y..." One of the men started to say but the prince cut him short.

" My love" The prince's voice is the gentlest while saying this. I glared at him feeling quite embarrassed and irritated at the pet name. I shouldn't blame him, it wasn't his fault, this was all that stupid potion doing. With this thought, I mind I couldn't bring myself to shake him off when he places a hand on my cheek. His touch is very gentle, his palm cold and soft. It was so unlike Damien's rough ones. He leans down to place his lips against mine in a gentle kiss. Don't hit him, it's the potion making him do this.

Though inwardly, I couldn't help admitting how incredibly soft his lips felt against mine. Everything about this man was soft and soft, it made me wonder if he had ever had to do anything slightly laborious in his entire life. And vampires did have a very prolonged lifetime.

The kiss felt nice but I couldn't dwell on it. I pushed him away knowing well that they were other people in the car as well, they were looking at us with disbelief written all over their faces. I realized how strange it must look, a vampire and a werewolf. A disaster in the making.

" Um, where are we going?" I asked.

" Naelex" The prince has a soft smile on his face as he says this. His eyes are warm and filled with fondness, it made me uncomfortable as hell.

" Can we spend the night at a hotel first? We can leave tomorrow, please "

I could see that both men were about to protest but immediately shut their mouths when the prince agreed cheerfully. I sighed in relief

By tomorrow morning he probably wouldn't remember who I am. I'll use the opportunity to go to Grandma Amber and find a solution to all this. I am going to fix my mistake, but I definitely won't be going back to the Rosette pack anytime soon.
