“Thank you so much for visiting Nova. I appreciate the gesture but I think it's best you be in your way now.” Cassidy said, trying not to sound hostile towards him.
“Are you chasing me away now too?” Nova asked in disbelief, wrinkled lines appearing on his face.
“That's not it…”
“I cannot believe you'd ask me to leave, Cassy. I must irritate you.” Nova highlighted, his voice cracking and pain evident in his eyes.
“I have a bad headache and I just need to rest.” Cassy lied. “I was actually doing that when I was notified of your presence. I had to come to attend to you as it would be rude as my guest not to.”
Nova's features softened, an understanding crossing them. “Oh, I had no idea.” He admitted, rising to his feet.
