"I can't let her go," Dave thought, staring at the closed door where Cassidy had just exited. Fear gripped him tightly at her words and his heart ached with a pain that couldn't be fixed. “No, I can't lose them. Not again” Dave muttered to himself, his hand running through his hair nervously. It felt like he had been plunged into a test and he was willing to do anything it took to make sure he got Cassidy and Ryan back. Ryan. That was his son's name.
