Perfectly Mated

Chapter Two

Oh. No. I can't believe it. Its not possible. We've spoken once and that was yesterday.

Finn had just walked into the cafeteria and straight away I knew he's my mate.

Will he reject me?

Will he completely ignore me?

I was starting to panic. Just then he looked over and I could tell by the way he was looking at me that he knew. I couldn't really read his expression as he looked at me. Then his eyes shifted to Daniel who was still sitting and talking to me, although I was ignoring him.

Finns eyes darkened as he started walking to us. He was so fast I didn't have time to do anything.

I knew Alphas were very possessive and had higher levels of emotion so this would be interesting.

" MINE " He growled loudly.

Daniel looked confused making me laugh despite the situation we are in.

Finn pulled me up fast, but gently. Sparks shot through me from where his arm was holding me. He slid hid arm around my waist making me feel wonderful although I tried not to show it.

People were watching us but Finn ignored the stares and pulled us out of the cafeteria and into the empty hall. I stepped out of his hold and crossed my arms over my chest trying to look intimidating, which we both knew wasn't working.

He smirked at me and took slow steps towards me, with every step he took forward, I took one back. My back hit the wall and he stopped just in front of me, so close I could feel his breath hitting my cheek.

He put his hands above my head against the wall and moved his head into the crook of my neck, breathing deeply, taking my scent in.

Because of our close proximity, I was taking his scent in as well, causing me to almost sigh is delight. He brought his lips up to my ear and whispered softly, "Who would have thought you'd be my mate. But you are. You are my mate and the packs Luna. You are mine," he said, putting emphasis on mine, "and don't you forget it Amelia."

The way my name rolled off his tongue gave me an amazing feeling. He thought I would obey his every command and fall into his arms didn't he? No way. And I told him just that.

Leaning up and letting my lips touch his ear as I spoke, I said softly, "You think I'm going to obey your every command and fall into your arms don't you? Well I'm not easy and just because you're my mate doesn't mean you can boss me around."

Trailing my finger slowly down his chest, I whispered, "You'll have to prove yourself to me Finn."

Before he could reply, I walked around him and back into the cafeteria, smirking.

He didn't expect that gloated my wolf.

Finn's POV.

I had a weird feeling yesterday when I ran into Amelia.

As I walked into this hell hole called school, she was still on my mind.

You're going soft man My wolf said snarkily. Shut up loser, I snap before cutting him out.

"Hey." Squeaks a voice in my ear. "Wanna go get a coffee?"

It was the school slut Kristen or as she liked to nickname herself, Kitty.

I rolled my eyes. "Not today." I said, annoyed.

She pouted, which wasn't attractive at all on her. She just looked like a duck.

Eventually lunch came and I went into the cafeteria with my friends.

Then a scent which was obviously my mates smell hit me and it was bloody perfect. It was cinnamon and chocolate and something like waterfalls, which I wasn't even aware had a smell but now I smelt it on my mate, and I was in heaven.

I scanned the room and my eyes landed on Amelia and I knew immediately it was her. She looked amazing, her soft honey coloured hair I longed to run my hands through, her beautiful eyes and lips, her petite body and her delicious scent.

Our eyes met and I knew she was my mate and I felt happier than I'd ever felt. My wolf was shouting, 'Mine Mine Mine' over and over again.

But then I saw who she was with and my blood boiled. Bloody Daniel, that asshole. I went up to them quickly.

"Mine." I growled loudly. Amelia laughed and I realized it was because Daniel looked confused. She has a beautiful laugh, I thought.

I pulled her up fast but carefully, I'd never hurt my mate if I could avoid it. The sparks flying between us were amazing.

I slid my arm down so it was around her waist. I couldn't get enough of touching her, even though I'd only been touching her a few seconds. I walked us out of the room and into the hall.

She stepped out of my hold and crossed her arms, trying to look indifferent but it wasn't working.

I smirked and took slow steps toward her, her taking one back as I took one forward. Her back hit the wall and I put my arms above her head.

We were close enough that I could have kissed her but I wouldn't rush her, although how her minty breath was hitting my face, she was making it hard for me to resist.

I put my head into the crook of her neck, taking in her beautiful scent. I'd never get enough of it.

She was taking in mine as well I knew, making my wolf pleased.

I brought my lips to her ear, "Who would have thought you'd be my mate. But you are. You are my mate and the packs Luna, and don't forget it Amelia."

But she surprised me then. She leaned up, her lips caressing my ear in a whisper, "You think I'm going to obey your every command and fall into your arms don't you? Well I'm not easy and just because your my mate doesn't mean you can boss me around." She trailed her finger slowly down my chest making me agitated.

"You'll have to prove yourself Finn."

She stepped around me and went back into the cafeteria. She fully well knew that saying my name would affect me. I was shocked at her bold actions. She was feisty. It was incredibly hot.

She's an amazing mate but she's gonna be a challenge. Well getting the girl is all in the chase right?

She may have gotten away from me now, but before she knows what has hit her, she's gonna be falling at my feet.

We can play her game my wolf said confidently.
