Chapter Ninety- Finally, She Gets To Live Your beauty is evergreen, You are the moon, and I'm a speck of dust lined on your orbit, You are the universe, Without you, I would have nothing, I'd be lost, No, I wouldn't exist, Never forget me among the others you give life, You are the universe, the rhythm of my heart, the air that I breathe, You are mine, And I am yours Blaire battled with the qualm of nerves taunting her fraying confidence as she propelled herself through the front doors of Samout City Girls High. Anxiousness was a nettling feeling, she did not know how many times she had to wrestle down her conative desires which seduced her relentlessly with thoughts of a relaxed evening by the pool with Saber rather than baring herself to these people she's always regarded as strangers. Drawing a deep breath, she strutted down the hallways, appreciating the minimum pair of eyes on her, but she did not feel as invisible as she would usually feel in this setting. It's like those few who stared at her knew, could read her as though she was see through and feasted on the sight of her frantically pounding heart. Maybe she wasn't cut out to survive in this environment anymore. Maybe it was too soon to return, she was still a mess for fucksake and was still adapting to the different routine that required majority of the effort to come from her. Oh how much she missed Selib! She was different, the last time she walked down these halls, she was not married to a dragoncrite king, to the most dangerous creature to ever exist, she was not the Queen of an entire planet. Even her mindset was not the same. Coping was not going to be a cushy adjustment. She did not even know if she could relate to any of the girls here anymore, not even Raine. As if on cue, Blaire spotted the tall, lean girl with her clique of loquacious drama queens. Blaire had never gotten along with the trio Raine introduced to her circle because of their standards and superficial interests, but she endured them because she always thought she could shape herself to their expectations and finally be one of them, but as she left things, she was still the quiet, awkward, odd one out: so she was not looking forward to spending the hour long lunches with them. She was not going to chip in much into conversations, especially since she had decided it's best to keep her marriage and everything under that umbrella a secret. Blaire hoped that the quad would strut right across her without detecting her uneasy existence, but much to her dismay, she only rummaged through her locker for a few seconds before she felt a sharp tug of her shoulder. Raine spun her around, a wide- eyed stare dressing her face, her mouth dramatically ajar and enhancing the "authenticity" of her feigned shock. Blaire had thought it unlikely, but Raine had recognized her even with her head shoved inside her locker. "Blaire! Where have you been? You can't just disappear for five days without saying anything, come on girl, I literally thought you were lying somewhere in the central cliff woods mangled to death like Desuardo." Blaire could have simulated a more convincing smile in appreciation of Raine's concern over her well-being if she had not triggered her memory. Blaire finally remembered, she had a clear recollection of that night at Central Cliff and she felt utterly embarrassed by her actions. Wandering off into the forest with a boy she barely knew, who was clearly solely interested in her voluptuous chest and on a mission to get her naked- was not the best choice she has ever made and as much as some compunction was present, she was not necessarily appalled or angry at her husband for the brutality Desuardo was dealt with in his last seconds of life. He is after all dubbed The Beast, it was his nature, nature she was learning to accept. He was a psychopath sometimes, her psychopath. Blaire did not have an immediate response for Raine, but she was able to conceive an explanation by the time Raine had dragged her to the theater hall. On their way an announcement had been made that due to most teachers being out of the country at a conference and the shortage of substitutes, that certain classes were going to skip some periods, so Blaire knew that they had not gathered at the place popular for hosting their rendezvous just for just. Blaire could feel her nerves evascenting as she settled on the carpeted floor right in front of the stage. The theater was large, warm, and was not frequented by many, which made it a perfect spot for her gossip friend. As soon as she got comfortable, Raine's hands seized hers and she disrobed her with an intense stare off. When she brought out those harrowing eyes, it meant she was armed to coerce her into giving her every bit of information she desires. "So…. What's the scope… were you, you know...lying low.." Blaire was hauled forward as she leaned in to whisper something to her.. "are you hiding from the authorities, Blaire?" Blaire scrunched up her face, trying to understand the odd question, "What?" "Did you do it? Come on, you can tell us." Ocenia, her least favorite of the trio urged on. "Do what?" Now she was clueless. "Did you have anything to do with Desuardo's death? Some people say they saw you leave with him and the next day he's found murdered and you're nowhere to be found." Now Raine was making sense. Blaire shrugged her shoulders, she really couldn't be defensive or even pretend to be offended by the accusation. "I didn't kill him. Yes I left with him, but when we got to his spot in the forest he gave me something and told me to inhale it and I felt really weird afterwards and I told him I was going to look for you, but I was hallucinating and I blacked out and when I woke up I was in my room and my mom was super mad at me. I've been grounded, you know how my mom is." Raine and the trio of brunettes seemed to believe her and not take interests in poking holes into her story, so Blaire's mind wandered as they began conversing between themselves, each contributing some arcane affairs of their neighbors, family, school authority figures. All she could think about was Saber. It had only been an hour closing in on two, but she missed him insanely. She couldn't help but wonder what he was doing, if his day was more pleasant than hers, if he missed her at all. The company he'd chosen was only an hour and a quarter away, maybe she could figure out a way to find herself within those premises, maybe she could surprise him. Hopefully he'll be happy to see her just as she will be happy to see him in corporate attire again. "Blaire?" Raine snapped her fingers in front of her face, bringing her out of the reverie. "What's up with you? Why are you biting your lips like that? Who are you daydreaming about?" "Just a celebrity crush." She lied and Raine continued from where she'd left off. "So there's this club that recently opened next to Cubia Morne and I have already made a booking, so all you have to do is to invite your friends and tell them to invite their friends- I want my birthday celebration to be the topic of the year, everyone is just so focused on prom. Oh and I haven't decided yet, so I'll text you the dress code a bit later. Oh right," Raine's eyes turned to her and her expression morphed into a bored one as she puffed out air jadedly, "you don't have a phone, so what, I'll have to call your-" Blaire quickly interjected and flashed her brand new cell to her. "No, I have a phone now." "Wow! Must've been worth the wait, that phone costs a fortune, that's like half a year of someone's mortgage." Idonsa, the least garrulous gushed, much to Raine's annoyance. "Let me see that," with the swiftness and force of a striking cobra, Raine snatched the phone from her and examined it with distorted features, "I am supposed to be your best friend, yet there's so much you're not telling me." "Like what?" Blaire seized the phone from Raine's less than tender, caring hands. Saber had ensured that she got the best, most sumptuous phone on the market which was a luxury even to the considerably wealthy, so she was going to take care of it with all that's hers. "Like for example where you were when I wanted to celebrate your birthday with you, or about the sugar daddy you must obviously have because your mom would have never bought you a phone, especially not this one- and don't think I didn't see you getting out of that Chartle_X Invincible IX." As anticipated, coming to the premises in the most expensive, extraordinarily extravagant car in the world had commanded a lot of attention, she couldn't even begin to size the uproar that would've ensued if the pupils knew she was a queen of a far more superior planet and had to treat her like one. "I don't have a sugar daddy." Blaire spoke curtly, not caring to explain how she was suddenly drowning in opulence. Raine had such a fierce tongue, which she had learned to forget as a queen, along with how she managed with being a friend to her. "Right…." Raine and her clique were skeptical, to which Blaire received with a carefree shrug. "So I'll let you know about the dress code before anyone else because with the wardrobe you have, you're going to have to do some shopping with that sugar daddy of yours and I hope you updated your ID." "Raine, I don't think I will be able to-" "No, Blaire, I'm the birthday princess, I'm not taking no for an answer, I will be seeing you at Beau Linx tonight or I will be so mad, you have no idea." She was going to have to run the idea through Saber first and her best bet was a flat NO, there was no way he was going to fancy her in a nightclub, especially not after what happened at Central Cliff. ■《》■■■■■《》■《》■ "Hello Boica, how are you this lovely afternoon?" Blaire exchanged the stoic chauffer, who kept the door open for her, a cheerful wave which reflected her exuberance. Not one for offering utterances generously, the man only bowed his head slightly and muttered a sentence in the most low tuned voice. Blaire was just about to tell him she preferred the front seat, when she noticed that Saber was waiting for her in the back. It was a pleasant surprise, she wasn't expecting him to be both present at the drop off and the pick up. Blaire wasted no time and joined him and finally faced him after thanking Boica. "Hey." She could not contain her smile, she was mantling with emotion, her actions alone strongly declared to him just how much she missed him. When he pulled her onto his lap she didn't resist and she knew exactly what he desired and gladly granted it to him. She might have smothered him a bit because of the daring request she had to make. When her lips left his, she was met with his ever enthralling, luminous neon orange eyes which scanned her deeply, seemingly deepening in shade and sharpness every second. "Now I feel under dressed." She remarked while letting go of the school blazer she didn't find flattering, then she let her hair down in hopes of adding more appeal. Saber was even more optically delectable than when she saw him this morning. He was even more beautiful now that his actions were not horrendously hideous. She could get used to seeing him in the tailored business suits, he looked good in everything, especially in the absence of arrogance. "You look so handsome, my king." Blaire uttered the words in a hushed whisper fitting for the ambiance, the mood of the drive: cool air streaming over hot skin, soft music playing creating a relaxing background for the mind to lean on for some soothing. "I had a decently nice day, at first I was nervous and a bit regretful, but as the day progressed I was able to let loose and enjoy the craziness and fabricated, provoked drama around me. I think I even made a new friend. It's a she, her name is Dotee, we have art and biochemistry together and our personalities are so harmonic…. Anyways, enough of that, how was your day at the office?" Her fingers played with his collar, in the process caressing his exposed neck. She noted that he had loosened up, the tie was gone and he had unbuttoned the first five buttons exposing some of his chest. His reticence was unnerving. He was just staring at her, his eyes pierced into hers, relaying to her all the words left unspoken in cryptic codes. If only she could read his mind. "What's wrong…. Why are you so quiet? You're making me nervous." Even as her eyebrows creased and her lips fell ajar and her eyes shifted from corner to corner nervously, he did not once blink, he kept gazing at her like a grand piece of art, a masterpiece. Blaire's lips twitched slightly and broadened to a beatific smile as her gentle, glimmering eyes drank him in without discretion. She was blushing so profusely that she wondered how she had sustained such a flushed expression for so long without hurting her cheeks or lip muscles. Purring in delight, she brought her hand to his face and her fingers stroked his jaw before she began fondling with his chin, drawing immense pleasure from the sensation his soft beard gave her finger pads. His calloused hands captured hers and their fingers weaved together as the car came to a halt at a stop sign. Blaire then briefly wondered if Boica's eyes have been peering over to the rearview mirror and he was vividly aware of their passionate lock, if he was able to concentrate on the road with a daring spread of her skin exposed- before her attention was detracted by a scorching sensation on her neck. Blaire moaned softly as his lips burned her flesh and left her inflamed to the core. Saber brought their locked hands to his lips and kissed the top of her hand, but he remained penurious with words. Releasing her hands, his arms coiled around her waist and he drew her even closer until as much of her body as possible was patched onto his. Then he leaned into her, bringing his lips to her earlobe. "I missed you, I've been thinking about you all day." His deep voice resonated darkly in her ears, his hot breath danced sensually across her skin, making her stomach clench. Those radiant, blazing orange eyes had warned her that his beast had taken over, that raging inferno setting his eyes ablaze did not mask the vicious manner in which he planned ravage her. His robust influence was insurmountable, the enchantment of his touch formented her longing, a burning yearning she was determined to assuage. Blaire knew exactly what she wanted, what he wanted as well and she was not going to defer satiating her desires because of the setting. She was ready for him to take her as he pleases, his scent was so irresistibly magnetic, so electrifying it made her feel things she could not explain and she never could understand why a whiff of him affected her so acutely, but his touch was even more dangerous, she was conquered by a single taste of his lips on her skin. "I missed you too, you have no idea." She breathed, her back arching as his burly hands roamed up her torso, consequently causing her untucked shirt to ride up and bring to sight her strapless, ritzy, filmy bra. Repositioning herself, she planted both knees at his sides and straddled him, before she unbuttoned the shirt all the way down and she unhooked the bra and allowed it to fall to his feet. She could've easily let the shirt over her head, but they couldn't make Boica more uncomfortable than they've already made him. "I'll try to be quiet." She whispered with a seductive undertone she didn't know she could manifest. Then her nimble fingers found the buckle of his belt, which she rid of in a breath of time, unhooked the fastener of his fitted pants, drove down the zipper and granted herself easier access. She was chanelling her inner vixen and it was driving him insane and those low, yet incredibly powerful, deeply sourced, beastly growls which made her shudder and hit straight to the core, only encouraged her. Blaire strapped her arms around his neck and her eyes closed, subsequently his lips crashed into hers and he kissed her with ardent passion, with so much vigor and a bit of aggression, nibbling, pulling, sucking, ravaging her lips like he had been thirsting for them for plenty of centuries. His voraciousness was too great, the sense of urgency too mighty for him to take his time and savor the taste of her lips. Blaire endeavored her hardest to stiffle the moan as her tongue explored his mouth and she rocked her hips, grinding into his solid erection fervidly. Latching onto him tightly, her lips curled into her mouth to muffle the salacious moans threatening to erupt from her as he buried his face in her neck and attacked her skin with torrid kisses, his hot mouth vacuuming her neck so strongly, introducing a tiltalting form of pain that left her writhing. Her breath hitched and she gasped softly as his large hands slipped under her skirt and groped her ass. One hand left her buttcheek and cupped her and she could feel her femininity spew juices and throb with heat as she grinded against his palm and felt that current of electricity ripple through her with each zealous jerk of her hips. When his pants and groans gained more volume and he began chanting "mate" over and over again in the most wildly beastly voice he has ever possesed, Blaire was ready to pleasure him and give him release- but just as she hoisted herself up, pull the thong aside and welcome his inches into her pulsing depths, she found herself detached from him, their intimate lock broken. Confusion washed over her and painted itself on her features as her narrowed eyes met his. Just as she was about to ask him why he pushed her away and halted her movements, his strained, bassful voice broke out. "I can't- I can't- I can't-" Blaire's features distorted into a frown as he struggled with his speech. The Beast wasn't one to stutter, he was always well articulated, so she began to get concerned. "Did I do something wrong?" She muttered lowly, tucking her bottom lip between her teeth nervously. "No, you didn't do anything wrong." He stoutly assured her, but didn't react when she leaned in to kiss him, he didn't meet her halfway, which in her drawing her head back. Her insecurities were replenished, she started thinking that maybe he didn't want to touch her because she had been intimate with Larzzon, or he no longer desired her as strongly. That could well explain that deeply conflicted look in his eyes. He sighed deeply before he appended. "I can't control myself when I want you this badly… I don't want to hurt you." "I can take it," Blaire boldly declared, a fierce look in her eyes he was not used to seeing, "I am prepared for your beast." Despite her unwavering assertion, Saber's eyes relayed to her a hurtful message: he did not believe her. She was disappointed, but she allowed him to embrace her tightly and invested some consideration into the possibility of him not feeling the robust connection that was intensifying with each passing second. ■■■■■■《》■■《》》》■■■《》》■■■
