I spent an inordinate amount of time in front of my closet, trying to decide on an outfit. I wasn’t expecting much out of the evening, but I could at least make an effort, right? Especially if I ended up with a little “thank you” at the end of the night from my newest crush. I chose snug black jeans, a burgundy polo shirt, and Vans. My black hair was as neat as I could make it, brown eyes ready for anything. I drove the five miles to Archie’s and found a parking spot a block away. Things were looking up already.
