THE PAST (Author's POV) Benjamin woke up with a hold as he broke into a cold sweat. He felt a crippling pain in his chest where he had been pierced and bent over in agony. His chest felt tight. His heartbeat was restless and erratic. His throat was clogged and his eyes bulged from the agony he felt. He was having a panic attack. The more he tried to resist it, the more crushing and excruciating the pain became. He clutched his chest tight and took deep, labourer breaths as he tried to calm himself.
