After pulling his pants on he inched closer to her, away from his side of the bed to comfort her because she was freaking out. He didn't understand what the big deal was.
Just as he inched forward to touch her arm and reassure she slapped his hand away and flinched and turned around, anger burning in her eyes. Woah! He definitely wasn't expecting her to behave this way. It made him frown.
