Magenta has a giggle when the big, strong Max has a problem with the horse.

She laughs at him, telling him that it won't, and he just has to calm down. It’s slow going at first, and by the sound of it, they will have to camp on the way before they reach the town. Max builds them a small fire, and they make themselves comfortable. Unable to sleep on the ground, Max offers to take the first watch.
