Max steps into his apartment feeling as if it’s been weeks since he’s been there. He still can’t believe that he didn’t just find a time machine, but he actually stepped through the portal twice.
Trust Bernard to pick some stupid era with knights and ruffians to go to! He knows that they have to be close to the portal and close to that town, but where is the question. It’s not in town and by the sound of it… In the townspeople aren’t too talkative.
They would have to find a way to get the townspeople to trust them somehow. On the other hand, he would think that Bernard would be happy to find out that they got the machine working and are there to find him and Sophia.
