Did Liam just say he didn’t want me as one of his conquests? Sure his kiss was amazing and it really sent electric shocks through my body, and it left me breathless. But did it also take away from my hearing?
“Liam, what are you saying?” I ask him.
He sighs and runs his hand over his face and says,“I don’t know. You're right, it was just a momentary lapse in judgement on both our parts. Let’s just get out of here and go home.”
“I still think it's better if I walk.” I told him.
“Olivia, I am not going to touch you, it is cold outside, just get into my truck.” He grunts out.
Some reason, I felt hurt by him saying that. I don’t want to argue so I walk outside over to his truck. He unlocks it and we get in.
The whole ride back to the houses we sat in a very uncomfortable silence.
