Two day till the hunters quest starts

That following day ,

David (jane ) was heading towards the old mans place to train for the hunters exam . He crossed by the shops and houses and heads towards the old man's place . Crossing throw the bustling crowd at the time of the day . The whole town seems to be in cheerful atmosphere . '' Is it because of the hunters quest ? '' Jane thought to herself .

'' But really these clothes are so much easy to move in it's much more better than clothes and dresses which i had to wear before '' she thoughts to herself . It took her fifteen minutes to reach the old man's shop . It was a goldsmith's shop where they sell many armour and weapons , quite an old place .

He goes into the shop . '' Old man you there ? '' he asks , he doesn't need to worry anything baout his voice cause it sounds just like a boy's . He looks around but there was no one in the shop . The girl there was the old man's granddaughter , she was carrying some boxes .

He goes to her and asks , '' hey where is the old man Lily ? '' . '' He is at the training room checking out the new weapons that have arrived today '' she replies ,. '' I see , the boxes seem kinda heavy should i help ? '' he asserts . '' well i don't mind '' Lily replies , she's quite the cute girl you can say .

They both carry the boxes . '' Where do you need to out those in ? '' asks David while carrying . '' To the training room ? '' she replies . '' Alrigh then '' he replies both carrying the boxes upto the training room upstairs .

He comes first in here on the second day , he remembers that this old man knows him since he was little . She can''t forgt about the day when she met the old man , remembering about it all she smiled . Lily noticed that '' why are you smiling ? '' . she asks .

'' Ahh it's nothing some old things '' he replies . '' You know i really like carrying things '' he comments . '' Really ? '' she asks looking at is face . '' Yes really , it requires labour but i love it ''' he retorts . '' You seem like an old man '' she giggles '' can you carry anything ? '' .

'' Yes i can '' he replies '' i can even carry you not a problem for me '' . '' What really ? don't joke '' she giggles not believeing his words . '' LET ME PUT THESE DOWN I WILL SHOW YOU '' He remarks . '' Alrigh then '' she looks at his face with admiration .

They finally reach the training room upstairs . '' Grandpa , open the door David has come '' Lily calls out . The door opens . They go in '' oh little boy you have come ''' say the old man , a sword in his hand .

'' What are you doing ? '' asks David . '' Making a new sword and forging it with magic power '' the old man replies , he seems to look around sixty well developed body no wonder he's still working . They put down the boxes . '' David , do you wanna try swinging it ?. '' the old man asks .

'' Can i ? '' he asks . '' Of course here '' old man hands him the sword . '' No , carry me first '' Lily insists . '' Alright '' David hands the sword over to the old man then carries her . '' You are so light i can carry you easily '' he takes her into his arms . '' Why do i feel like a man on the inside ? is it because i am in a man's body ? what's this feeling ? '' David thoughts ,.

'' Lily seems like a princess in David's arms you both seem made for each other '' comments the old man lighting a cigar . Lily blushes red '' what are you saying grandpa we are not like that ''' . She hugs him tighter enough to choke him . '' Lily , i ... i ... '' David utters . ''' What are you saying ? you don't agree with grandpa right >? we are only friends '' she goes on a on by herself .

'' Lily .. please ...let ... me '' David utters . '' Let you what ? ,,,, marry ? no we can't marry so early '' Lily blushes . David finally utters with all the strnegth he has left in his body '' let me ..... g-go..... i can't ..... breathe '' . '' What '' Lily was shocked . ''' You look pale what happened ''' she stutters . He had let her down at last .

'' I am sorry i din't notice at all that i was hoking you sorry my bad '' Lily apologizes . Old man bursts out in laughter . '' You seem like an old couple and funny to watch , why don't you two get married ? ''' he says while trying to stop his laughter .

'' Oh grandpa , stop it already '' Lily blushes . '' I thought that i was about to die '' David says regaining his consciousness '' i will never carry you again '' . '' Don't say that David '' Lily stutters . '' Anyway , you feeling better little boy ''' old man remarks .

'' Yes i am feeling better now the reason i came here today that is i am going to participate in the hunters quet that is gonna be held in two days '' replies David . Both granddaughter and old man became quiet . '' What happened ? why are you both quiet ? aren;'t you happy to hear the news ? ''' he asks ,

'' Little boy do you know that , there comes many skilled peron from different countries to take part in the quest to become official hunters and enjoy all the special privileges >? you know that don't you ? '' the old man comments . '' Yes i do remember that that's the reason that i want ot take part '' he comments .

'The old man gazes at the eyes of him intently then bursts out in laughter again . '' Very well i can understand what you are feeling those fiery eyes are telling me that you want to take part in it no matter what trouble comes your way , is that so ? '' he asks .

'' Yes i want to take part no matter what happens , that's the reason i have fought with mom also ''' he replies . '' Very well , i will provide you with all the things that you need in order to ensure your victory ''' the old man says placing one hand on David's shoulder showing his support .

'' Grandpa you can't be serious you are sending him into the tiger's layer all on his own ? '' Lily asserts . '' Yes i will give him all the support if i am here then he will definitely win that's my belief 'i will make sure that he wins '' the old man comments .

'' I am very muh worried about you David , what if something happens to you ? what if those old mans eat you all up in the arena ? '' Lily mutters hr face full of worry and anger '' i know i will go there to keep you all guarded yes i will '' .

'' I don't think they will let you fight beside me , only one man per team can take part in it '' he comments . ''' They won't ? then ... i will sit in the gallery and keep you guarded i won't let them put even one scratch on you '' Lily remarks her face quite evil and sinister laughter .

''' But little boy , what about your mom ? will she agree and let you take part ? '' old man asserts . '' I had fought with her in th morning too about that she hasn't permitted '' he replies . '' I can understand very well why she;'s doing this '' LIly remarks .

'' Why ? '' he asks . '' Cause your father is also a hunter and he's away most of the time so only you tow stay at home if you become a hunter you will stay away from each other and she will become lonely . '' she replies .

She takes both of his hands and holds it along with hers . '' She loves you very David and constantly fears to lose you , whenever you are away from her sight she gets worried , this is mother's love and affection which cannot replace anything in the world '' she remarks , her face has a gentle look in it .

'' But i will get back home from time to time then ? '' he asks . '' Even so , she worries very much about you even though you are not her son , she still sees you very much like her son that's why she loves you so much enough that she fears of losing you , makee her understand even if she doesn't agree i guess she will still come on the day to cheer for you that's how mom' are '' she explains .

'' Will she ? '' he asks . 'She nods . '' Then alright , old man let's start training i will stay the night here tell this to my mom that i won't get back home in two days if she wants she can come on the day of the quest '' David states . '' Noted , here all the equipments you need let's win the quest shal we ? '' the old man says .

'' Yes of course let's start trainning '' David says . Lily quietly leaves the room without anyone noticing . Standing behind the door she thoughts . '' Finally the time has come when you decide to take the step forward , i cannot fall behind you too . No matter where you go i will always be there to be your support .

I will show you my feelings in the arena and make you realise how much i love you , you clueless blockhead ''' she smiles and leaves the room .

'' Hey , where did Lily went to ?'' asks David . '' It's nothing leve her alone what do you need ? i have armour spear , sword what do you want ? '' he asks . '' How about sword and shield ? '' David says picking the heavy looking sword among the things .

'' Can you swing it ? it;'s heavy '' old man remarks . ''Yes i can i ned to practise a little '' remarks David . '' Then try '' he says . David tris to pick it up '' feels heavy but i feel like i should be the one to weild it '' David asserts '' what's this i feel ? completely diferent from before ?'' .

After the third try he was able to weild it . '' This is the sword which is made from the tooth of the cerberus which can pierce through any metal and grant protection onto the wielder i hope you can win the quest with this little boy '' old man say with a smile .

''' Cerberus , you mean the dragon or something ? wow amazing , i just love it '' he exclaims in joy . '' How did such a little boy like him weid it so easily ? even i had trouble wielding it ? just what is this kid ? ''' the old man thoughts to himself .

'' Can i keep it forever ? '' David asks . ''' If you win the quet as the first hunter then i can allow it '' old man replies . '' Then ... well .... ;'' he thoughts . '' Not confident enough that you can't win ? '' old man asks . '' NO i will try my very best of course '' remarks David .

'' I had always wanted to wield a sword like nights like in movies and stuff this seems so real '' Jane thoughts to herself '' i am glad that i was reborn otherwise i wouldn't have been able to experience things like this '' .

'' I will be your opponent come at me '' old man says appearing with another sword . '' There are certain rules in sword fighting '' he starts to explain '' that is '' he bows down his head . '' You always have to bow your head towards your opponent and then cross your swords then when the king gives orders the duel starts '' .

Old man starts attacking him . '' Go a little bit easy on me i will get hurt '' complains David . '' The path to chivalry is not so easy '' old man giggles . '' I don't even want to be a night '' remarks David . '' Then be one what's the harm and marry Lily '' old man comments '' she will get mad to hear that though anyway '' .

'' How can you joke in this situation? '' David asks while dodging his swings . '' Cause that's the fun part in sword fighting '' old man remarks . '' Now come ''' he attacks again . They both train together the whole afternoon . Lily had went away after making lunch for them to David's house to tell his mom about his stay there and to persuade her .

Lily and Mrs.MARY talked for a while , lily tried her very best to make her understand but she didn't agree . It was LIly was about to get up t leave Mary says '' take care of him '' . '' Of course we will your son will win the quest as the first i bet if only you come to cheer him up then i bet he will win ''' lily replies .

'' No way can i go ? i have told him so much harsh things i can't show him my face now '' she becomes flustered . '' So what parents and kids always misunderstand each other but we have to try to resolve our issues right ? '' lily remarks .

'' But no matter what he does i always stop him from doing it at this rate he will hate me '' Mary retorts . '' Then let him do so , i know how much you care for your son but there are some things that cannot be done without leaving your home so you need to understand him that's all i have to say to you '' lily asserts .

'' If you have nothing to say i am leaving sorry for disturbing '' lily say while leaving . ''' Do i have to let him go after all ? '' Mary says sitting down onto the sofa . ''''' Augustus please come back home soon , i don't want him to become like you , if you were in my place what would you have done ? ''' she whispered .
