Chapter 21*The Surprise*

Sofia's POV.

"I'm glad you could make it Sofia." Thea whispered hugging me. "By the way you look so hot today, why you blushing?" She asked as we both took a seat.

"I look hot?" I questioned and she nod her head smiling. "I'm fat and pregnant and you pregnant and yet you didn't change as much as I did."

"Sofia, I'm seven months pregnant and you five, you really look like---:"

"I'm four months Thea." I corrected her angry. "I know you think I'm five months pregnant because I'm so fat."

"No Sofia that's not what I meant. Come on, seriously at least you don't have Xavier to take care of you when you pregnant. He literally ruins my mood every single time. I'm sure Benjamin is way better than him."

"This isn't Benjamin's baby." I lied because there's no way I can tell her anything when she's going to be his stepmother soon.

"I didn't know that, I'm sorry." I didn't even understand why she's apologizing, I mean the father of my child didn't die or something. "Anyways how did Benjamin take this news?"

"Like anyone would take the news. Aunt Thea I'm not feeling well I'll go home now. I promise I will meet you again before I leave for Paris and by the way, if I'm not here when you giving birth please don't let Benjamin name your child. He wants to name the next Carson boy and trust me he will choose a horrible name." I told her as I got up and she got up and hugged me.

"I'll try my best for him not to name my baby." She mumbled.

After greeting Thea I left the place. I know I could take a taxi or accept Thea's offer but I wanted to walk home for some fresh air. I really miss being alone in the street without anyone to annoy me, just me and my thought.

I walked the streets of New York and it actually started breaking back so many memories. The days I used to take Elijah for walks, when I used to run away from Benjamin. The days Anna would chase me and Marko because he did something wrong. God I missed all those days. I miss everyone who would always try their best to put a smile on my face.

"I miss you all so much." I shouted like a crazy person as I sat down in the street. I'm really going crazy because of that kiss. I shouldn't have kissed Benjamin, I should've known better. My phone started ringing and I quickly answered it.

"Hey Sofia, I just wanted to know how you doing? I heard about last night." Anna said.

"I'm good but what did you hear?" I questioned, I just hope she doesn't bite my head off.

"I'll talk to you later." She replied and I looked at my phone to see if it was even Anna's number.

This is the first time she has ever said this to me. I can't believe she forgot to hung up after telling me she will talk later. I wanted to cut the call but I also wanted to know why she did it, what is wrong with her. So I didn't hung up, instead I listened to her conversation.

"Father, stop ignoring me." Anna shouted and I quickly paid attention to her. I only met her father once. "I know it was all you." She added but I couldn't hear what her father was saying. "Father, why? Do you know he lost control because of you. Dad he could've kill her. She's my friend and she's pregnant." I quickly hung up after that. I know she is talking about me and I'll make sure she tells me everything.

I walked down the street in a hurry. I couldn't wait to go home and tell Anna to come over. I'll make sure she tells me every single thing she knows. My phone started ringing and I quickly answered it.

"Get in the white car." I looked at the my phone and saw that it wasn't Anna calling me. "Stop acting crazy and get in the car."

"Who are you?" I asked but the person hung up. I swear to god some people are never too old to stop playing pranks. I wouldn't even be surprised if it was Jay pranking me. I continued walking down the street and the car started hooting. I kept ignoring it until it stopped right in front of me and two men's came out.

"Ma'am, you have to come with us." One of the said as the other one opened the door for me. "Boss told us to get you, we won't hurt you." I rolled my eyes and took a step back.

"You know who my husband is?" I questioned and they looked at each other. "It's Benjamin."

"Ma'am we were just send to get you. Boss told us not to say another word except tell you to get in the car." The man replied.

"And who is your boss?" I questioned.

"We don't know his nam---." I tried running away but one of them grabbed me and picked me up.

"Put me down you fool, I promised I'll get in the car on my own." I wasn't lying because I'm pregnant and there's no way I'll risk my baby.

I really don't mind ever getting kidnap like this again. I mean they did make me feel worthy, they call me with respect not because of Benjamin but because I'm my own person and plus whoever wants to see me must be a nice asshole to tell them not to hurt me.

"We here ma'am." The guy said opening the door for me. "Please don't make a run because you will get lost and you will get shot."

"What kind of a place is this? Listen here take me back home, this place isn't good for my child." I got back in the car and closed the door and the man opened the door again. "I'm not getting out." I shouted trying to close the door again. I thought they would take me to a nice place or something.

"Ma'am we will have to shoot if you don't follow the orders now please get out of the car and go in the building." The guy commanded me pointing his g*n at me. "Just get out nice and easy and no one needs to get shot." He added and I shook my head, if they boss wants me alive then that means they can't shoot me. "Didn't I tell you to get the f**k out." The guys whole attitude changed angry and the other guy walked to him.

"Boss doesn't want her dead, he will kill us if something happens to her." The other guy mumbled and a smile appeared on my face. "Now just ask her nicely she will come out."

"Come out. You have a minute to decide or else I'll shoot you." The man shouted and the g*n went off.

I panicked and started touching my whole body. I wasn't bleeding or anything, I wasn't shot but then who got shot? I turned to look at the guy and he was lying on the floor. He got shot in the leg and was bleeding.

"Sofia Valentines I won't repeat myself again, get the f**k out of the car." A man standing far away shouted. I knew the way he was speaking that wasn't his voice. You have a minute to get in this building and if I come out again I'll blow the car up." He left and I quickly got out of the car in panick.

I walked to the building and got in. I closed my eyes for a second and prayed that at least my baby doesn't get hurt today. I promise I'll go back to Paris where I had no problems with anything.

"Make yourself at home." The man said standing at the back of me and I quickly turned to him. "Don't be scared I won't hurt you." He added and I quickly took a few steps away from him.

"Who are you and what do you want? I swear if it's money I'll ask my friend but please don't hurt me and my child." I begged the man in the mask and he started laughing.

"You haven't changed a bit Sofia, and can you believe I made it out alive." He replied and I looked at his eyes carefully. "Surprised." He shouted taking his mask out.

"You." I said angry. "It can't be you, you supposed to be dead. We buried you, we cried and no no. It can never be you." I shouted crying.

"Are those tears of joy?" He questioned and I nod my head crying. "I miss your more sister." He hugged me and I hugged him tight. "And by the way it was funny seeing you scared."

"Why didn't you just call? Charlotte thinks she killed you. Benjamin was heartbroken and Damien was sad, he didn't want to live anymore because he was carrying your heart."

"Sofia, did I ever tell you I died?" He asked and I shook my head. "Did you ever see evidence that I died." I looked at him confused because I couldn't think of anything right now. "Did you ever see my dead body?" He questioned and I shook my head.

"Aiden I swear we were tol---."

"No." He said interrupting me. "Sofia, everyone decided that Jailson law is dead. None of you even saw my dead body. You believed I was dead. I know Benjamin, my brother was hurt because Damien's life was in danger but you? I never thought you would believe I'm dead without my seeing my body. It's fine at least I know how little you all loved me."

"No Aiden, we love you more then you think and now that you here Benjamin will definitely die of excitement." I mumbled wiping his tears. "I promise you from now on I'll go wherever my brother goes."

"I know you would." He said touching my face. "You haven't changed a lot in those months I was gone and I'm happy you still the same Sofia I knew." He continued smiling and I nod my head happy. "I just wanted to surprise you and ask you a favor."

"Ask." I smiled.

"Well, I wanted you to give these chains to Adrian and Elijah and this bracelet to Emily." I nod my head after he said that. "And I want you to give this special one to Evelina, make sure she always wears it,"

"Is Evelina your favorite niece, I mean Charlotte said Adrian is your favorite." I mumbled and he shook his head.

"I love all the children equally now can you do me another favor?" He asked and I nod my head. "Tell me who is Evelin's father?"

"Damien, why?" The smile on his face faded after I said that and I bit my tongue. "Aiden why don't we go home now."

"No." He snapped. "That's the last favor I need. Please don't tell anyone anything about you, I don't want anyone to know I'm alive. Sofia I came to say goodbye. This will be the last time you see this face. I'm going to go to surgery."

"What?" I shouted and smacked him. "You can't do that. You so beautiful Jailson, you can't change your face. Please don't let me promise that I will keep this secret from Benjamin."

"I'm sorry Sofia, I really don't have a chose. I thought I could trust you that's why you the only one I'm telling this. Sofia, my surgery is a week from now, I already made up my mind. I'll always look after you and the rest of the kids but promise me while I'm gone you will look after my brother and the children. Just promise me you will never leave my family's side."

"I promise." I said wiping my tear. "But please think about it. Don't go for a surgery, I don't want you to change. I love you the way you are Jailson, I don't want someone I call brother to change."

"You still talk a lot like always, anyways one day we will get old. Our face will change but no matter what happens somehow we will always stay the same person we are. I'll always be Aiden aka Jailson. Now don't cry again because of me." He replied.

"I won't." I answered and he quickly took the chains and bracelet he was going to give to the children.

"Make sure they always wear it no matter what happens." Aiden said and I nod my head. "Thank you." He added and I took the stuff from him.

"How did we get the news you died then?" I asked and he looked at me angry. "I just want to know please."

"Charlotte." He started and I looked at him confused. "She planned to kill me Sofia, I know she wasn't think straight but that isn't still an excuse. She messed with the brakes in my car and for the first time in my life I wasn't a step ahead of my enemies because I didn't think the person who loves you would do that to you." He paused. "Sofia, my mother always told me as a kid never to tell anyone my real identity. She told me that if people knew I was a match for Damien I would be dead. Sofia, Charlotte knew there is a fifty percent chance I would refuse to be a donor so she did what she thought was best for her son Adrian. If it wasn't for my friend informing me that my brakes has been messed with then I would've been dead."

"Then how did we get a donor for Damien?" I questioned.

"It's not my heart his carrying, it's his enemies heart." He replied.

"You lying." I shouted and Jailson shook his head. "But why did you do that? How did you do it?"

"I was in a hurry, Sofia I didn't have time to look for a donor. I had to kill someone or be killed but the worst thing was I had to make sure he matches Damien. But I was in luck when my friend called me and told me his worst enemy is a match. I never thought my own family would kill me Sofia, that's why I don't want them knowing I'm alive. Sofia, I trust you. I know no matter what happens you will never leave my side, you will forever be a sister to me." He explained. "I know it hurts to say goodbye but this is goodbye. I'll get married one day but our children will never know they related. Now give me one more last hug before you leave."

"No." I shook my head. "I'm not leaving, I'm going to stay with you. Please let us live with you, I promise I won't be as annoying as I used to be when I lived at your house."

"Sofia, Benjamin would never leave you and you can never take Benjamin's children away from him." He told me. "And don't you dare forget what happened last time you lived with me."
