Even though Alaric never had anyone to teach him how to control the killer power inside him since he was little, he was a genius and could learn bit by bit about suppressing or using the power in his body as a weapon.
Alaric was born from a mix of a fallen angel and a regular human, and out of the entire Nightshade family bloodline, only Alaric could fully awaken his power.
It can be said that after the attack incident where Alaric emerged as a hero, the man's life changed 180 degrees from before, and he became one of the strongest and most respected creatures in the supernatural world.
