Chapter TwelveHer mobile was beginning to ring as she got back into the van. It was Mr Tenchard. He'd called an emergency meeting of the rescue-committee for the following evening. Mr McGregor had been informed and he would be staying over after surgery concluded. Also Mrs Charles' daughter would be there. She was anxious to learn about what was going to happen to the animals that her mother had been keeping in her house.
