Eagerly, Sofia accepted her mom's call. "Yes Mom, tell me," she said, expecting her mom to start her panic-stricken rantings, but she just sighed.
"You know about Vicky's condition, don't you?" she just asked. Sofia knew that there was no point in hiding it any longer. Her mom knew everything.
"Yes, Vicky told me. She threatened to leave home forever if I told anyone about it," said Sofia with a sigh. "I'm sorry, mom. I couldn't tell you even if I wanted to. Vicky's going through a traumatic time and I didn't want her to leave home," said Sofia. Her mom understood.
