Her eyes widened and before she could comprehend, Davion pulled her into his arms, his arm going around her waist while the other held her nape. Electric tingles ran down Sofia and her feet turned to jelly. Turning her face upward, he gently claimed her lips in a tender kiss. A wave of warmth swept over her and she trembled like a leaf, but the kiss ended as soon as it had started and Davion released her abruptly. Sofia suddenly realized what had just happened!
