My mind is in shambles when I get back to the island. Both Quill and Beth claimed to have seen nothing. My mind is racing. Ever since I left Texas, strange things have been happening. The sudden quick healing, the quick bursts of strength, what I saw tonight—I can’t wrap my head around any of it. Nobody else seems to be behaving or thinking the way I am.
