Every curse has its end with a sacrifice.
For decades mystical creatures believed that black magic was a curse. If you get touched by the magic or practices it. It will unravel your mind and take control. Turning you into a monster.
Black magic was like a bad drug. The more you use the more power you want. Witches are an example. Their bodies weakened because of the overuse of arcane magic. They kill off-springs in order to become immortal and fix their old wrinkly skin but it doesn’t last forever.
Raine was unsettled by the knowledge of facing them head-on. The head council of the sorcerer’s tribe believes there is a weapon that can destroy them once and for all. Raine was a bit sceptical because everything comes with her price.
