Chapter Three

Kayla Lewis:-

“What we are going to do?” I asked looking at the dead body.

“First, we must take care of this dead body. Then we will think what do we need to do.” Matthew replied looking around. He gets down on his knees in front of the dead body and begin to check his pockets and all. He found the wallet and phone of Drake and switched it off. He kept Drake’s wallet and phone with him then turned around to look at me.

“Is there anything in which we can cover this body so we can take this body outside from the office?” Maxwell asked.

“No, I don’t think so let me check in the store I think there are some new packs which just arrived they are quite big bags. I hope they will cover the body.”

“Can you please take them out meanwhile I will look for the watchman and make sure no one comes over here.” Maxwell said. I nodded my head and went to the storeroom to search for the bags and thankfully I found them in the meantime and return to Maxwell with the bags. I helped Maxwell in covering the body and clearing all the traces of crime that were available over there until the office was super clean. Once we were done the tears began to form into my eyes once again but before they can come out Maxwell was by my side and kissing my head.

“ Don’t worry, Kyles. I am with you and trust me no one will ever find out what happened over here. Just trust me on this because I will never let any harm come your way.” Maxwell promised.

“Thank you so much you are such a nice person I don’t know what my mom deserves to have a husband like you in her life.” I tell him.

“ I am not doing this for your mom or anyone. I am doing this for you, Kyles. You just need to forget that this ever happened and move on in your life. Drake got what he deserved. He was the wrong person. Not you. Now let’s go.” He said. I nodded my head and went out of the cabin with Maxwell.

“We need to take this body inside of my car then discard it somewhere where no one can find it.” He said as he put on the heavy body over his shoulder.

“How we are going to do this? There is a watchman outside.” I asked confused.

“How is your watchman? Is he a decent and honest guy?” Maxwell asked.

“No way, he is a bloody p*****t and a liar who will do anything for money and female’s body for pleasure.” I replied with a disgusted face “ In short words he is a filthy pig.”

“Then this sounds just great. You should go and try to engage him with yourself.” Maxwell suggested making me frown because I didn’t understand what he was trying to ask from me.

“I don’t understand you. Can you please elaborate?” I ask. Maxwell sighed and looked down at his feet then back at me.

“How innocent are you, Kyles? You need to go and try seduce that p*****t so I can take this body to my car.”

“ Eeeww,No! Never!! I am not going to do that.” I said with a disgusted face.

“Kayla, you have to do this to put yourself out of this situation. How do you think I am going to take this body out of here without him noticing it?” Maxwell asked. I take a deep breath and nodded my head.

“Ok, I will do it but please make it quick. I am telling you he is a such dirty pig.” I tell Maxwell and walked towards the watchman and waited for Maxwell to do his work as I engaged the watchman in me.

“Kayla ma’am you still here in office?” the watchman asked looking at my body from head to toe. Thankfully Matthew’s coat was covering my body till my knees and the suit jacket was buttoned up from the front.

“ Yes, I had some work today which needed to be completed by today which is why I stayed here late.” I replied.

“Oh, so how you are going to your home now?” the watchman asked.

“ My stepdad will come to pick me up.” I replied. I have just finished when Maxwell came forward with his car and opened the passenger door for me.

“Kayla, get in dear.” Maxwell said. I said goodbye to the watchman and ran towards the car and get inside of it.

“ You fine?” Maxwell asked.

“This was the toughest job I had done.” I said after taking a relieving breath after what feels like hours. Maxwell laughed and shook his head amused.

“ You are not like other woman, Kyles. You are something else.” Maxwell murmured making me smile and look behind the car.

“Is the body in the car trunk?” I asked.

“ Yes, but don’t worry about it. We will take care of it just now.”

“What we are going to do with that?” I asked

“You don’t need to worry dear. Like I said I will take care of it.” Was all he replied and drove to God knows where.

“No, please tell me what we are going to do? I am scared and freaking out.” I tell Maxwell.

“ Relax, we are going to bury this body in the forest where no one can find it.” He replied and drove towards the forest as fast as he can while I kept on trembling in fear the whole ride.
