C60-Rest After Supper

Allyson's POV

We sit at the dining table. The butler's assistance put food on the table.

"Did Colton and the rest of my friends eat already?" I ask Butler Ulfred.

"Yes, my lord Allyson." His reply.

"Ok, where are they now?" I ask him again.

"Probably they are now resting in their bedroom, my lord." Butler Ulfred says.

"Please check them for me if they are in their bedroom," I said with a poker face.

"Yes, my lord, I'll do it now. Excuse me." Said the butler and I nod. He walks out of the dining hall. Then I start to put food on my plate and eat.

"Granny, it's very late at night, I want us to be rest as you are very tired now and me also, probably Elliot, too, tired, right, Elliot?" I ask Elliot and he nods in agreement. His mouth is full and he can't talk.

"So let us enjoy the food, rest after this, and tomorrow, please let us continue our stories after my work. Is this ok with you all? I want to know everything and understand everything." I said.

"Yes, Ali. You are right so let us enjoy our food and have a rest after this." Granny said. I can see in her eyes that she is very tired. Elliot is silent focusing on his food.

After our supper, we go to our bedrooms to rest. Butler Ulfred informs me that my friends are sleeping in their bedrooms. I will deal with them tomorrow.

In the morning, after breakfast, I act normal as if nothing happened. Colton, Cris, and I go to our car. I use Avanza this time for the van is so big for the three of us. We reach the office thirty minutes before eight o'clock.

We are reviewing the case and thinking about how it is possible to track the criminals when officer Taylor calls our attention.

"Good morning, Officer Alder, Officer Campbell, and Officer Smith, please proceed to Chief Wolfe's office. Asap." He says then he turns back to go to his desk. We follow officer Taylor's order. We knock at the door.

"Come here," Carlos says. The three of us enter the door.

I felt someone staring at me. I look at the woman who has long black hair with blue doe eyes. Oh, she is the one who saved us from vampires in the forest! I thought. I can't forget her beautiful doe eyes. And she smells so good! She smell a wild rose and a morning dew, so good! Hey, why do I smell specifical and why do I smell her in distance? It's weird.

"Good morning sir," We greet our chief in unison.

"Good morning and take your seats," Carlos said. We take our seats on the chairs.

"Ok, officers. I would like you to meet each other for your teamwork on our mission." Chief Wolfe said.

"This is Officer Allyson Alder. He was a transferee from New York Police District. Officer Alder meet Officer Johnson Olsen. he was a transferee, too from Odda, Norway; Officer Tiffany Brent. She is from Odda, Norway, too. And this man is our undercover agent Officer Jasper Mackintosh, from Scottland. Meet Officer Tyler Scott. So these two guys are officer Colton Campbell and Officer Cristopher Smith both from New York." The chief introduces us to them and vice versa. We shake our hands.

"Ok, go back to your seat and let us divide your team," Chief Carlos says.

"Since there are three clans that are criminals here in Seward Park, we have to divide your groups into three. So, I prepare here three rolling papers that inside were your partner's name. So Officer Tiffany, Officer John, and Officer Tyler will pick one piece of rolled paper. Whoever name you pick up, that is your teammate, ok?" Carlos said.

"H-how about me?" Jasper ask.

"I told you, you are an undercover agent. You should not be exposed. You work discreetly. You will help these three teams to track them. So you had a very big role in this case. Ok?" Chief Wolfe said to him.

"Ok." He replies smiling.

"Ok, now. Are you ready?" Carlos asks.

"Yes, Chief!" The three of them pick one rolled paper for each of them, open it and read the name written inside. Tiffany got my name and I feel glee in my heart.

"I picked Officer Allyson Alder as my teammate," She said.

"I got Officer Colton Campbell as my teammate," John says.

"And I got Officer Cristopher Smith as my teammate," Tyler says.

"Ok, since you got your team. Team 1 is Officer Alder. Team 2 is Officer Campbell and team 3 is officer Jasper. For the clan you will follow, team 1 will track Karayan Clan, Tiffany you are the leader for this team. Team 2 will track the Bancroft Clan, Colton you are the leader of this team. Team 3 Kearne Clan will be your duty and you, Tyler is the team leader. So, talk to your team and make a plan for how to track and corner them. Guys, I am counting on you, and call me if you need some help."

"Yes, Chief," We said in chorus. Chief's phone rings. He gets his phone and answers it.

"Hello,?" Carlos answer. His eyes furrow.

"When did it happen? Where is the place" He gets his pad and pen and writes something on it we just watching and listening to him?

"Ok. Ok. I'll be there in 10 minutes." Carlos said then he hung up the phone and look at us.

"Guys, go with me. There was a murder again. Let's check it out." As he detached the scratchpad and put it in his pocket. He leads the door.

"Jasper, go there ahead of time. It is better to be safe than sorry. This is the address." He pulls out the paper from his pocket and shows it to Jasper.

"Ok, Chief." He says.

"Remember be careful and work in discreet."

"Yes, Chief," Jasper said and in a flash, he was gone before us. Carlos looks at us.

"Come on." He says and we follow him outside to his car that parks outside.
