Colton's POV
"W-what Somnium Loop Spell, mother?" I ask.
"A Somnium Loop Spell means you are in a dream but you think this dream is real as you continue your life. This is dangerous for you since you come back here in the past." My mother said.
"Why, mother?" I ask.
Because if you would not wake up in your dream, you will forever trap here. And the scene here in your dreams will occur repeatedly until it will make you depressed. Make you insane and worse, you kill yourself. So you should wake up, my son." My mother said worriedly.
"How mother? How can I wake up from this dream?" I ask worriedly.
"That is what you have to find out. I will help you, son. So take rest, for now, my son. Tomorrow, let us talk about your life in the future in your free time, ok?" Mother said.
"Ok, mom. Goodnight." I said
"Goodnight. Sleep well." Mother said. She kissed me on my forehead before leaving me in my bedroom.
Young Colton and I train early morning. The other warriors train, too.
"Try harder!" I said to young Colton. He tries to do what I was instructed to him. He throws punches at me and does a butterfly kick, but he almost perfects it.
"Ok, let us rest for a while and resume again later." I saw mother smiling at us, walking towards us.
" You should take breakfast for a while. You two come." Mother said. We look at each other and smile. We follow our mother to the kitchen. The breakfast is there at the table. Mother cooked my favorite food again. She prepare also milk for us.
"Now, you two, don't stare at the food, go sit and eat well." Mother said.
"Yes, mother!" We said in unison and we hurriedly sit on the chair and put food on our plate.
"Where is father, mom?" Young Colton asks.
"He is with the King. He took already his breakfast earlier so not to worry." Mother said.
"Where are they going?" Young Colton asks.
"They having a private meeting." Mother said.
What is it all about?" I asked. Mother shrugs her shoulder. And put another meat on our plates.
"You both eat more meat. You take a rest after eating before practicing, ok?" Mother said.
"Yes, mom." We both said. Young Colton looks at me. Oops!
"You call my mother, mom, too." Young Colton said.
"Ah, yeah. Because he looks like my mom." I said. I glance at my mother. She smiles.
"It's ok to call me your mom, Colt. You are like a son to me, too." Mother said.
After eating, young Colton was called by the Royal Beta. Mother and I have our alone time.
"How is your life in the future, my son?" Mother asked.
"My life there is good, Mom. As of now, I am a police officer there. I am chasing Vladimir." I said.
"V-Vladimir as Vladimir Malkavian?" She said.
"Yes, mother," I said.
"Why?" Mother asked.
"The Sepentriones Kingdom is doing something bad I think. And you know the Malkavian Clan. They are mad and evil. As of now they spreading havoc in Seward Park. They killed and kidnaps teenagers." I said.
"Oh, that is evil!" Mother said.
"Yes," I said.
"And who are Elliot and Allyson you followed?" Mother asked.
"Elliot and Allyson. I don't know but I do always feel a hunch by these two. Elliot is a lycan but Allyson I can't tell. He smell's human. But lately, when we chasing Vladimir's gang in the forest he has super-speed like beyond my speed, He is strong that he can fight one the vampire named Darius." I said.
"A human with supernatural power, you mean?" Mother asked.
"Yes, mother." And I told her about them. How we met, the castle, grandma Alice, and so on, weird things that the twin and I observe. The mother stay silent after she heard stories.
"Did you find what is your grandfather commands you?" Mother said.
"Yes, mother but so far I can't find the bloodline of the King Amoux. I failed you, father and grandfather. I am sorry." I said sadly. My mother stand;
"Come with me, my son." Mother said to me. I follow her. We go to father's library, where she pressed a secret wall. I follow my mother inside. I remember when I was a kid, I secretly played in this secret room. I accidentally discovered this room long before when I was stumbling upon its wall so I was never surprised when my mother open this secret wall.
"Come in, " mother said with a wave of her hand, the couch moving on its own. She removes the carpet afterward by chanting a spell. The carpet was gone. A secret door appears and it opens.
We go down. The door closed when we are inside and I heard the couch move again. The room smell of herbs and spices. It was an organized room. Neat and clean, too. Each cabinet has a label. There are also some species at the glass jar, small or big. I knew my mother is a witch since I was a child but I don't know this secret room.
"Have a seat, son." She said. I sit on the chair. She gets a mandrake, some spices, and herbs in a basket. Then she put the mandrake on a stainless basin which she put on a stove using charcoal that time. She uses her magic to create a fire. She puts the mandrake in it, she chants a spell while slowly putting in the spices and some herbs. After a while, she called me.
"Come here, Colton." Mother said which I followed. When I was beside her she waves an herb at me and softly brushes me with it on my head while chanting a spell. Then she puts the herb into the stainless basin with the other ingredients and puts fire on it to burn them. A smoke shapes while mother staring at it.
