C63- Unexpected Transformation

Carlos's POV

"Use the other police car. Here is the key." I give the key to Colton and they get into another police car while Colton, Cris, and Allyson use the other police car. Tyler drives to Shiley River for just ten minutes only. There are police already in the place, media, and medical team when we arrive.

"Good morning, Chief Wolfe." Officer Gonzales greets me.

"Good morning, Chief Wolfe." The policeman said.

"Good Morning, Officer Gonzales. What is happening here?" I ask, putting my hands on my hips.

"Sir, we found a dead body in the river Shiley. A woman called us so we send medical team also when we get here." Officer Gonzales said glancing at new officers with me. I deep breathe. I introduce the new police officers to Officer Gonzales.

"They are new police officers that I assigned to conduct criminals in Seward Park: This is officer Allyson Alder." As I tap Allyson Alder's shoulder.

"There are new officers: Campbell, Brent, Smith, Scott, and Olsen. Guys, this is officer Gonzales." I said.

" Oh, hi!" Said, officer Gonzales. The team greets him, too.

"Where is the body?" I ask.

"Over there, Chief Wolfe." Officer Gonzales says and we follow him.

We see the dead body in the stretcher covered by the white cloth. I removed the white cloth on the head of the victim. Looking at the face of the victim, checking her wounds, scratches. I look at the bites on the neck of the victim then I slowly moved down the cloth on her chest. It's intact but I have suspected that her heart was stolen by the vampire.

"Thus, you got the information of this victim?" I ask.

"Not yet, sir but the team is working on it. In a couple of minutes, we can have the information. So we will send the body in forensic." Officer Gonzales said.

"Ok, good. Give me the reports immediately. " I said.

"Oh, by the way can somebody lead us where you found the body?" I requested Officer Gonzales.

"Yes, sir. I can accompany you." Officer Gonzales says.

"Ok, let's go," I said and we follow Gonzalez to where the victim was found.

We walk following the long river of Shiley until we stop in the area where it has been found. I scan the surroundings. I sniff. The fresh blood of the victim is still intact in this place but there is something more.

"Here, Chief Wolfe. This is the place we found the body. Her half body laid the river and her upper body laid in these stones." Gonzales said. We saw the drawing of the half body using chalk in the stones. I kneel and look intently at the drawing, my brows furrow. I sniff the air, the smells are fading. I snapped my head looking in the opposite direction where tall trees piled up, sniffing. Vampires! I growl. They are not yet far. They will not gonna get away from this. Let's go, Casper.

"Team, ready. The killers are near." I said and run fast to pass the river. The team hurriedly follow me. We are now running inside the forest at a very fast speed. I was surprised when Allyson run so fast like us. I don't mind Colton, I am not surprised by him with his agility. He is not human anyway. I guess, a werewolf. Cris and Gonzales are leaving behind meters away from us. The smells are now stronger than before indicating that we are near them now.

Tiffany jumps high in the trees and flies trees by trees. I follow her to the ground, seems she sees the vampires.

"Hey, wait for us!" The two who left behind shout but I have no time for them to listen. It's very important to catch the enemies. I notice that Allyson runs like a bullet to the point that he passed at me and Colton who speed is amazing, too. But Allyson passed Colton, too. He is leading now, leaving us behind him. His speed level is now with Tiffany who is in above the trees flying while we are on the ground. Hmm, He is not human, Casper said. I thought so, I said. Is he a werewolf-like Colton? I ask Casper. He is more than a wolf. His strength and agility surpass you. It means he is a Lycan, Casper said. A-a Lycan?! I said in surprise. Yes, a lycan, like us. Casper confirm. But I thought Lycans was killed. Only the two of us left? I said. I thought so, Casper replied.

I heard Allyson growl in a distance so I hurriedly run fast more speed. I saw him jump high to get the man who wore jeans and a black leather jacket. They fell to the ground.

"You beast. Monster!" The vampire whose hair is so black with pomade or lots of gel in his hair. I guess he poured the bottle of pomade or gel on his hair. Allyson replied to him.

"Who do you call monster?! You are a monster, you, bloodsucker! You have your fangs, stupid!" Allyson said angrily. The vampire angrily attacks Allyson. I was about to help him but to my surprise, he dodges his attack with supernatural speed. He targets fast the neck of the enemy which makes him unconscious. He falls to the ground.

"Darius!" One of the she-vamp shout. I am now at Allyson's back to protect and support Allyson while I see Tiffany fighting in the air with another female vampire. The she-vamp who shout the name of Darius glared at Allyson. Her red eyes become slits. She attacks Allyson from the air but to my surprise I didn't expect Colton turns to a Lycan, wait! Does he transform in his lycan form? How it is possible? I thought he is a werewolf. He bite her shoulder and they fell to the ground. The other vampire who has left attacks us and it's my turn to be in my lycan form, too. I scratch the chest of the remaining vampire. It didges my attack and perfectly landed on the ground. He hisses. I growl. I charge to attack. He simply dodges my attacks again. This one is super fast, Casper. Yeah, but I am determined to snap his head and kill him. Casper gritted his teeth and attacked the vampire again. This time the vampire charge, too. Oh, good! I wait for this moment, you fool! Casper said. He targets to s***h my stomach but I am quick to dodge it with a counterattack. I made a swirling move into the air, landed on his back, and dig my claws to the center of his back to get his heart. But he quickly give me a kick on my head so strong that I almost fainted so I jump on the ground failed to get his heart, shaking my head. He writhes in pain from the back. The she-vamp who fights with Tiffany injured also, helps him stand.

"Sean," She said and help the vampire stand. He coughs blood.

"Retreat! But we will come back and kill you all!" Darius shouts angrily. Allyson will attack him again but they fly in speed and disappear.
