Chapter 17- The Fledglings Attacks!

Third Person's POV

Early morning, Allyson went to Seward Park Police Authority to give his transfer since the chief was not yet around, the Deputy Chief accepted his transfer.

"Our Chief of Police will be coming back for a few days so you will meet him soon." The Deputy Chief said.

"Ok. Sir. When I will report for duty, sir?" Allyson asked.

"We will give you a notice when the Chief is here. Welcome to Seward Park Police Authority," they shook hands afterward.

"Thank you, sir. Permission to leave, sir." Allyson said.

"You are permitted to leave." The Deputy said.

Carlos and the gang entered the forest.

"Seward is pretty cool! Lots of establishment and forests," John said with amusement on his face. Carlos smiled.

"Thanks, you like it. Seward Park is surrounded by Forest. So sometimes it's called the 'The Town in The Forest' and we are thankful for this beautiful geography of this town, we can live in the forest." But suddenly Carlos lost his smile and John noticed it.

"Hey, what happened? Are you ok?" Asked John. Tiffany sniffed the air and Tyler did the same.

"Vampires!" Tyler and Carlos said in unison. John's body stiffened.

"I-is t-this bad?" John glanced at Carlos.

"Maybe. Prepare yourself time for you to be frightened. Instead, this is the time to seek an opportunity to discover your powers. Do you understand?" She said as she put her hands on John's cheeks. John gulped and nodded.

"Whatever happens, fight for your life. Fight to survive for your family. Understand?" Tiffany said. John nodded.

"Yes. You are right. I will fight for my life for my family!" John pulled his courage. Tiffany nodded to agree.

"Embrace yourself. They are fledglings!" Tiffany announced.

"How did you know?" Tyler asked.

"I'm a vampire remember? They can't smell me as a vampire but I can smell them and know what kind of vampire they are." Tiffany said as she showed her fangs. Tyler was shocked but recovered immediately.

"Cool!" Tyler said. A vampire jumped on their bumper. Tyler managed to drive zigzag forcefully and the vampire at the roof of their van fell.

"Wow! That's awesome, bro!" John remarked to Tyler. Lots of fledglings swarmed on their vehicle. Tyler jerked.

"Now what?" John said. Fledglings punched their car windows but Tiffany worked invincibly. She put an invisible shield on their windows so they couldn't break in. Carlos mind linking the Alpha for help.

"Ok. The help is coming. So, let's stay together alive. Shall we?" Carlos said and the rest agreed.

"So what do you, plan warrior?" Tyler asked. Carlos looked at Tiffany.

"How about you, Tif?" Carlos stared at her eyes. Tiffany smirked.

" Don't go out. Reserve your energy. I will stop them. Tyler, when you see they stop, drive this car at full speed, ok?"

"How will you do that?" Tyler asked.

"Don't stress yourself on how will I do it. Just do what I said." Tiffany said. Carlos gave Tyler a heads-up.

"Ok, as you said. But be careful. They are wild and hungry." Tyler reminded Tiffany. But she only smirked and then she teleported at the middle of the rooftop of the van.

"Where she's gone?" Tyler asked. Carlos pointed at the roof of the car. They saw that the fledglings were thrown away from the van and frozen.

"Tyler...drive as fast as you can, now!" Tyler was shocked by the female voice that mind-linked him. But he followed the voice. He starts the engine and runs as fast as he can.

"Will she not be fall? I'm speeding!" Tyler shouted while driving to the open field.

"No. Just drive," Carlos said calmly.

John was curler like a ball but he sat up straight when Tyler drove away. The fledglings recovered and they ran after the van. Tiffany stands still in the middle of the van with both hands on her hips while the van runs at speed. But the fledglings were fast. Some fledglings flew and Tif saw this, she closed her eyes and when she opened them, they glowed in blue color while still, her hand raised. Suddenly, the sky darkened and lightning appeared and hit the fledglings, turning them to ashes in the blink of the eyes.

One fledgling got neared Tiffany to attack. But Tif dodged his attack. She gave him a roundhouse kick and the fledgling threw to the ground. The next attacker struggled to breathe when Tif got her neck and squeezed it. Tif Lifted her. The fledgling struggled from the hand of Tiffany until her last breath.

The werewolves ran near them and saw what Tiffany was doing. Tiffany breaks her neck and she feeds on her. The fledgling shakes her body and then stops as a sign of her death. Tiffany throws her body to the ground. She wiped the blood flows at the corner of her mouth and her eyes became red. The remaining vampires were attacked by the werewolves from Alpha Daniel's Pack. The van stopped and the trio went out to help the pack in fighting. Tiffany saw the fledglings continued to increase their numbers. Her brows were furrowed.

"Why they are increasing?" She lifted her hands again. This time her eyes glowed into silver. The fledglings were lifted in the air and were surrounded by the whirlpool. This whirlpool carried the fledglings far away. The remaining fledglings burned from the fire that Tiffany threw them. Her eyes were red-orange this time.
