C121-The Ability To See-Through

Colton's POV

Tonight, as I meet Elliot to attend my first class for my spell lesson, the twin was in the room ahead of me. They are more excited, maybe. Allyson was the last to come. He only watches our lesson.

Elliot taught me the history of the witches and sorcerers, the basic spells, rules, and regulations. The twins and I were enjoyed performing some basic spells. I was overjoyed that I easily manipulate the spell. Elliot was no surprise that I easily cast the spell.

"Don't be surprised in your ability

You are the son of one of the powerful witches of ancient times. It is in your blood. Use it wisely and value it so that you can be more powerful than you ever think of in the future." He said, tapping my shoulders. It sinks into my mind and never forgets it.

I easily fell to sleep after the lesson and woke up late in the morning. Allyson was not around.

"Hey, did you see Allyson?" As I took my coffee and ask the steward.

"Yes, sir Colton. He received a call early this morning and go to his work." Steward reply.

"Oh, thanks." I look at my wristwatch at 9:29 in the morning. After breakfast, I meet the twin.

"What is news today? Any news?" I ask.

"We will start working today, gamma," Alex says.

"Ok, be sure to mind-link me if there is news wherever we are, ok?" I remind them.

"Yes, gamma. We are going now." Lex said.

"Ok. Keep safe." I said. I meet Elliot in the corridor.

"Good morning, Guardian Elliot," I greet him.

"Good morning," He reply.

"Are you busy?" Guardian Elliot asks me.

"No. I don't have work today. It is my day off." I said.

"Good. Come let us go to the balcony of the place in the front area." Guardian Elliot invites.

"Sure," then I follow him. Since I've learned that Elliot is one of the sorcerers and the Guardian of Prince Allyson and doing also the duty of The Guardian of the Royal Palace, I give him a respectable name he deserves. Doing a lot of duty is hard which Elliot has more than one duty. I didn't see on his face the complaint or heard from him. He just doing what he has to do.

"You see that forest which surrounds us?" He asks.

"Yes, Guardian Elliot," I said.

"Hmm. Here is the thing I want you to do. Stare in one place or direction for example the middle part. Then focus, just state, and don't blink your eyes. And tell me what you see afterward." He said to me. I followed him. I stare in the left direction of the lushes green forest. I focus while staring trying not to blink. After a minute, Elliot asks me.

"What did you see?" He asks. I look at him.

"N-nothing. I see those trees." I said. He sighs deeply and crisscrosses his hand at his back.

"Again. Do it again. Concentrate more this time." He said. I nod and do what he says. It's blurred. My vision becomes blurred. The wind passes at my eyes and I blink.

"What did you see now?" Guardian Elliot said.

"I saw nothing at first but then it becomes blurred to me," I said to him confused about what he wanted to see by me. But there is one thing for sure I know, he is teaching me another spell or what.

"Hmm, very well. Repeat it. Concentrate more..more focus this time. Do not blink your eyes." He said again. I follow him again and concentrate more this time.

After a moment of doing again and, I was stunned. I see a reindeer in the abyss of the forest, eating grass. The stream that flows freely and placidly. Even the smallest creatures like worms and ants, I see it through amazingly.

"Now, can you see anything?" Guardian Elliot asks.

"Yes! Yes! Guardian Elliot. I see even the ants and worms crawling on the ground. I see the reindeer eating grass and the stream." I told him happily.

"Good. Good. Practice that always, Colton." Guardian Elliot says.

"Hey, what this kind of spell do you teach me?" I ask him.

"It is not a spell. It is one of your gifts, Colton. I just want to know if you have this kind of gift so I try to let you do it. It is a special gift that not all sorcerers or witches could have, so treasure it." Guardian Elliot said to me and smile.

"Oh, you mean, you have that, too?" I ask.

"Yes. As a guardian, I have this ability. That is why I can huard the palace from here." He said.

"Oh! It means I am a guardian, too?" I inquire.

"Nope and yes." He said. My brows meet. I was confused by her answer.

" Nope because you cannot be guardian even though you had the ability of this and yes because all guardian has this innate power in ourselves." Guardian Elliot explains.

"So how I could know if I am a guardian?" I ask.

"You will know if you meet your Lord. Lord means the one you will be guarding of. Like me, when Allyson was born, grandma Alice and the butler saw in my eyes the mark of a guardian when I stare at Allyson. So Allyson is my Lord. You should meet your Lord, first before you knew it, usually in the full moon, you will easily know it." Elliot explain.

"Oh, tomorrow is the full moon, what is the mark in the eyes? And only that?" I ask.

"Yes. Only in the eyes. In the full moon or even not in the full moon as long the light of the moon touch your eyes when you have face to face with your Lord, your eyes will have a ring of silver, your Lord will see that and he will acknowledge you." He said.

"Oh, that is great!" I said.
