C92- Maleficae Lacrimae Amoris.

Elliot's POV

The prayer works. The king received the mind-link from Beta Connor after their prayer.

"The third batch and fourth batch warriors follow Royal Beta Connor. They now spotted the enemy's lair so we should attack them now." The King announce. The warriors hurriedly prepare. The witches open several portals to reserve their energies and shorten the distance of travel.

"Yes, King Amoux!" The warriors said and they march to the portal that the witches provided them. They wait for hours for the warriors to come back.

After a long while, the portal opens and the warriors, witches, and Beta Connor come out from the portal with victory. They cheer and celebrate their double victory on this day. I feel happy, too. Though I was not there I feel their triumph. So this was what happened in the first war of the Kingdom of Letotian.

Everybody was happy about the celebration. The witches arrange everything even the food and drinks. The King caught their attention.

"Royal Packs of the Kingdom of Letotian may I have your attention, please!" King Amoux said.

"Yes, King Amoux!" The pack said in unison.

"Today, we celebrate our double victory! And there is a man behind this success. We owe him this victory. And tonight we would like to thank him." The King said to the crowd. And the crowd cheer!

"May I call the man behind this success, Colt Campbell!" The King announce. The crowd hurray for Colton. He give thanks to the crowd. The packs enjoying the party. The king call out Colton's attention in private.

"Colt, I'm really grateful for your intelligence and skills in war and your tactics were effective. So I want to award you to be one of the generals in our Kingdom." King Amoux said. Wow!/that is an amazing ad honorable offer from King Amoux.

"Oh, my King Amoux. It would be an honor to me to be you general but I cannot accept your offer, my king." The king was surprised by his rejection.

"B-but why you reject my offer? Is there anything you desire other than my offer? Tell me, maybe I can grant that." King Amoux said.

"My king, there is nothing I can desire but the peace and harmony of our kingdom. Is that I cannot accept your offer because I am not meant to be here." Colton said. This is an awesome answer. The king's creases appeared in between his brows.

"W-what do you mean by that?" The king asked.

"I mean, my king. I know you wouldn't believe me but I have to tell you that I am from the future. I am Colton Campbell, I live long with you before but this war diminished many lives including you." Colton said truthfully. The king was stunned by what he heard and chuckled.

"You are funny. What stupid words you said." He said.

"I told you, you won't believe me. Here is the cache, my King Amoux. How did I know that the enemy will attack today? How did I know their plans? How did I know their possible hideout? I have arrived here two days ago. This has happened before. That is why I know." Colton said to the king sincerely. His family heard what he said and they gasps except his mother. He look behind him and saw his father and the young Colton.

"Y-you mean, you are m-my son, too?" His father asks. He nods.

"Yes, Father. I am your son." Colton said.

"Then y-you are my true brother?" Young Colton said.

"No. I am you. I am the older version of you." They are speechless.

"Yes. He is telling the truth, my king... Dolphus." Constancia said and bow for the king.

"I am sorry to interrupt your conversation. But this is my son, the older version of my young Colton." Constancia smile at him and young Colton.

"Then how did this happen?" The king asks.

"Yes, Constancia. How did we interact with him when he is from the future?" Dolphus said.

"Because this is just a dream. We are here in Colton's dream. He was trapped by the powerful sorcerer of his time. He was trapped in somnium loop spell." My mother said. They are gasps.

"W-what? A somnium loop spell?" My Dolphus said.

"Isn't a dangerous spell that can trap your soul in a dream?" The King said.

"Yes. That is why we have to look for something that can awake him voluntarily, my king." Constancia said.

Colton told them my story of how he was trapped in this dream but this time, not only his mother is listening: the king, his father, and the young version of him. He also told them what the future looks like. They are fascinated by his stories from the future.

"So what happened in the past? These wars. Is war ended?" The king asks.

He told them what happened in the past. How the King fought and died in the last three remaining wars that the king bravely fought. How his ancestors honor him in the future. Even with the death of his father with the king, he told them the details of the wars and how they ended. Now, the war might continue because it was written in the prophecy. How the remaining Royal Pack escaped, hid from the current vampire king. And now, how he found King Amoux's grandson without his knowledge that if not for his mother who told him, he didn't know it was him. The king inquires about Allyson. The king's face is happy about the stories of his grandson.

The king comes back to the palace and they come back home.

"My son. I am proud of you for what you achieve and you live longer than us." My father hugs me tightly when we are inside the house. His eyes were moist and he choke.

"Thank you, father. It's hard to live without you and mom. And I missed you so much." Colton hugs him tightly. Her mother sobs and even the young Colton.

"My child, come with me." His mother pulls his hand from my father and they go to his mother's witching room. This time, with his father and the young Colton, go with them. Constancia puts herbs and spices again to the stainless basin while the rest watches her. After she has done, a purple fog envelops Colton and she chants a spell. I watched her intently. I knew that spell. Like the first two spells she used, This is the most powerful spell among the three. This is an ancient spell that is rarely used by the most powerful witch or sorcerer. Then she remove her tear shape necklace from her neck and put it on Colton's neck. But my eyes grew wide when I recognized the pendant. It was the Maleficae Lacrimae Amoris

"Oh, that pendant!" I exclaimed. Allyson looks at me.

"What about the pendant?" Allyson said.

"It was the long-lost witch's ancient pendant! The Maleficae Lacrimae Amoris!" I said aloud to Allyson.

" My son, this is my gift for you that I didn't give you before the last time we've been together. Now, I am thankful for this opportunity to give you this. This necklace is from our ancestors. This is a powerful necklace. In time, it will help you and save you from danger. So always keep this to your body, my child." Constancia said and kissed his son's forehead.

"My only regret is that I never teach you the witchcraft to protect you and use it as the weapon for any danger you face. But now, I don't have to worry for this necklace is powerful. I am always with you, my son, will not live you, like this necklace. Think of me whenever you are in danger and need help. The necklace will guide you and help you." Mother said lovingly. My father hugs me and the young Colton tightly.

"Now it's time for you to come back where you belong, my son. Remember my words to you. You don't spend too much time here. It will be dangerous to you." Constancia said with teary eyes. Then a bright light shines between him and his family. Then when it faded, he was in the darkroom which is one of the secret rooms in the place I prefer for them if they succeed to escape their dreams. I was speechless after I saw how powerful and ancient Constancia is. The last spell she used to Colton is one of the top oldest spells.in ancient times that even I didn't know how to do it. It is the hardest space to perform. It can break any powerful magic or spell in the world. I realized that Colton is not an ordinary lycan, he is from the lineage of the extraordinary witches clan. I don't know if he is aware of this. I was. back to Earth from trance when I heard Colton's voice.

"Did my mother put me in the universe wrong? How can I come back to Earth this time?" He said.

"Mother! Mother! Bring me back to Earth! Why did you put me in the galaxy?!" Colton shout. Allyson and I laughed at his comment. He is funny.
