C-98 Colton In The Galaxy

Allyson's POV

The king received Beta Connor's message thru their mind-link.

"The third batch and fourth batch warriors follow Royal Beta Connor. They now spotted the enemy's lair so we should attack them now." My grandfather King said to the crowd. The warriors are preparing to enter the portals which the witches open for them.

"Yes, King Amoux!" The warrior's reply and they enter the open portal that the witches create. They wait for the warriors to return.

Many hours passed when the portal open. Beta Connor, warriors, and the witches came out from it. They celebrated their double victory for the day. I feel proud of their achievements and success. It was a success because there was unity in the pack. This was lead to their victory.

Everybody celebrates with the witches arrange everything even the food and drinks. The King calls the crowd's attention.

"Royal Packs of the Kingdom of Letotian may I have your attention, please!" King Amoux announce.

"Yes, King Amoux!" The crowd shouts out loud.

"Today, we celebrate our double victory! And there is a man behind this success. We owe him this victory. And tonight we would like to thank him." The King announces to the pack. The pack was shouting for joy.

"May I call the man behind this success, Colt Campbell!" The King shout. The crowd cheers and claps. Colton stands, thank the crowd, and wave his hands to them. Then the party continues. The King called Colton at the corner.

"Colt, I'm really grateful for your intelligence and skills in war and your tactics were effective. So I want to award you to be one of the generals in our Kingdom." King Amoux said. I agree with my grandfather. Colton deserves a reward.

"Oh, my King Amoux. It would be an honor to me to be your general but I cannot accept your offer, my king." Surprised was written in the king's face when Colton rejected his offer.

"B-but why you reject my offer? Is there anything you desire other than my offer? Tell me, maybe I can grant that." King Amoux asks. I felt sad for my grandfather but Colton is right, he cannot serve my father.

"My king, there is nothing I can desire but the peace and harmony of our kingdom. Is that I cannot accept your offer because I am not meant to be here." He replied to the king I admired Colton's honesty.

"W-what do you mean by that?" My grandfather says.

I mean, my king. I know you wouldn't believe me but I have to tell you that I am from the future. I am Colton Campbell, I live long with you before but this war diminished many lives including you." He says honesty. At first, grandfather was surprised for a minute then he chuckled. I was stunned by his words, too. So my grandfather was killed in the war.

"You are funny. What stupid words you said." My grandfather says.

"I told you, you won't believe me. Here is the cache, my King Amoux. How did I know that the enemy will attack today? How did I know their plans? How did I know their possible hideout? I have arrived here two days ago. This has happened before. That is why I know." He explained the truth to the king. His family eavesdropping on his conversation with the king. He snapped his head to his family behind him.

"Y-you mean, you are m-my son, too?" Dolphus says.

"Yes, Father. I am your son." He replies.

"Then y-you are my true brother?" Young Colton asks.

"No. I am you. I am the older version of you." His family couldn't believe it. They remained silent.

"Yes. He is telling the truth, my king... Dolphus." His mother joined the conversation and give the king a court nod.

I am sorry to interrupt your conversation. But this is my son, the older version of my young Colton." His mother simps at them.

"Then how did this happen?" My grandfather questions her.

"Yes, Constancia. How did we interact with him when he is from the future?" Her husband asks confused.

"Because this is just a dream. We are here in Colton's dream. He was trapped by the powerful sorcerer of his time. He was trapped in somnium loop spell." His mother reply.

"W-what? A somnium loop spell?" Colton's father asks.

"Isn't a dangerous spell that can trap your soul in a dream?" My grandfather inquire.

"Yes. That is why we have to look for something that can awake him voluntarily, my king." His mother says.

Colton tells a storyteller of how he met me, Elliot, my grandmother, etc. Aside from trapping him into this dream. They listened attentively to Colton's story. Colton shares some insights about how the future looks like. Amazement is an understatement in their faces.

"So what happened in the past? These wars. Is war ended?" My grandfather says.

This time Colton tells the story of their past. He elaborate on the death of my grandfather in the last war he fought with his warriors and high officials. He told that in his future time, the remaining packs who are hiding, honor him, his father, and the brave fallen warriors. He told them also how life after their death. Now, what was written in the prophecy is happening. He shared them about me, who was told by his mother that I am. the grandson of King Amoux. Grandfather asks me a lot and Colton shares a photo with me, which according to him he took secretly in my bedroom. Now I know that I do not look like my father only but I am looking more like my grandfather. Grandfather stared at my photo from the mobile phone Colton.

Grandfather comes back to the palace cheerfully.

"My son. I am proud of you for what you achieve and you live longer than us." Dolphus squeeze when we enter the house. His father holding back his tears, maybe it is tears of joy.

"Thank you, father. It's hard to live without you and mom. And I missed you so much." Colton bear hugs his father with tears. Young Colton and his mother can't help to cry, too.

"My child, come with me," Constancia calls him, reaching his hand and leading him to her witching room. Young Colton and his father follow them. Like before, Constancia set down herbs and spices basins. A purple fog-covered Colton then makes a chanting spell. She put her necklace to Colton's neck afterward. But I notice that Elliot's eyes grew wide staring at the pendant. Seems he knew this necklace, eh?

"Oh, that pendant!" Elliot says aloud. I look at him. I told you so, I said to myself. He knew.

"What about the pendant?" I ask

"It was the long-lost witch's ancient pendant! The Maleficae Lacrimae Amoris!" He exclaimed.

"What is that mean?" I ask but he did not answer me. He stared at the crystal ball again and watch it. I did the same.

" My son, this is my gift for you that I didn't give you before the last time we've been together. Now, I am thankful for this opportunity to give you this. This necklace is from our ancestors. This is a powerful necklace. In time, it will help you and save you from danger. So always keep this to your body, my child." His mother kissed his forehead full of love.

"My only regret is that I never teach you the witchcraft to protect you and use it as the weapon for any danger you face. But now, I don't have to worry for this necklace is powerful. I am always with you, my son, will not live you, like this necklace. Think of me whenever you are in danger and need help. The necklace will guide you and help you." Constancia gives him reminders and words of love. He received bear hugs from his father and the young Colton.

"Now it's time for you to come back where you belong, my son. Remember my words to you. You don't spend too much time here. It will be dangerous to you." His mother says. Her tears fell. A light shines separating him from his family. He was in the darkroom when the light subsides. What spell is that Constancia did that can break the somnium loop. spell that Elliot cast to Colton? Does it mean that his mother is a powerful witch?! Powerful than Elliot!

"Did my mother put me in the universe wrong? How can I come back to Earth this time?" He is talking to himself. I furrow my brows. What does he complain about? What important is he comes back.

"Mother! Mother! Bring me back to Earth! Why did you put me in the galaxy?!" Colton cries out loud. Oh? Does he think he is in the galaxy? We can't help but laugh at him. Well, he has talent in humor.
