I woke up the next morning to feel two strong arms around me, it was a feeling I was starting to get used to. I wake up and remember what happened last night, I quickly feel my cheeks burn up from the memories flashing in my head. I’m trying to untangle my self from his arms to go check on the kids but it seems he keeps gripping on tighter. So I whisper “Ace, I have to go check on the kids” , he answers without opening his eyes, with a very deep raspy voice: “just 5 minutes baby” I giggle but can’t say no to him so I lay back down and he nuzzles his head in my hair and instantly relaxes. I take this moment to really study his tattoos, they’re so detailed , so beautiful. I began to trace them with my fingers as I instantly become mesmerized by him, he’s like a Greek god perfectly sculpted by god himself. How did I get so lucky? He must of felt me staring at him because he says “Not that I mind you staring at me , but why are you so deep in your thoughts? What’s going on in that beautiful head of yours?” I sigh, “I’m just wondering how I got so lucky? Why me? I’m sure women throw themselves at you, why me?” He immediately sits up and makes me straddle him with my legs on each side of his lap. “Baby, you are the only one for me. You’re so beautiful, so pure. So strong. You have virtues that no other women will ever have. Your soul is one of kind. Please don’t ever think of yourself as anything less than you are. You’re a gem baby, and I promise you I’ll spend the rest of my life showing you what you mean to me, how truly special you are.” With that a tear runs down my face, “Angel why are you crying ? Did I say something that upset you?” He looked so worried, I giggled , “No , on the contrary I’m tearing because that was beautiful. Thank you for loving me so much” “it should be I who thanks you baby for taking me back, for letting me be in our kids life even when I didn’t deserve it” and that’s when I heard Adriano’s cry and Ace groaned , “and there’s Adriano” I giggled, “I can’t believe my son just cockblocked me” I immediately laughed and proceeded to get off of him to go get the kids. When I make it to their room Adriano is sitting up waiting for me to get him, as Luna is just staring up in the air , I pick both of them up and make my way back to the room so they can say good morning to their daddy. When I entered the room, Ace was out on the balcony on the phone. I didn’t want to disturb him so I just sat with the babies on the bed until he was done. After about 5 minutes he came inside, and sighed, he looked stressed but as soon as the kids looked up to him he immediately hid his stress and put a smile on for them. “Good morning my sweet babies” and the kids immediately react to his voice, it’s like they knew him from the beginning. They immediately stretched out their little arms so Ace would pick them up. And as he did. After about 2 minutes of him playing with them he sits them back on the bed and lays down at the end of the bed while playing with the babies feet, he looked thoughtful . Like he wanted to say something just didn’t know how to. So I decided to break the silence and see what’s going on “Ace , who was on the phone? You look upset” he sighed and said “It was my dad, he really wants to meet the kids. And I know I’m in no position to ask you this but please if there’s anyway you can let him meet them I know it would mean the world to him. When I told him yesterday I was a dad his eyes lit up , he was the happiest I’ve seen him.” “Ace I don’t know, is your mom going to be there?” “Unfortunately yes, but don’t worry my mother will never harm you, Santi and my dad are on our side , my dad was furious when he found out what my mother did” “Okay Ace, I see how much this means to you and I would love my kids to get along with your dad.” The moment I said that he lit up , it was like fireworks he lunged at me and attacked me with kisses I bursted our laughing because it tickled, “OH MY GOD BABY GIRL!! You don’t know how happy you’ve made me, thank you thank you thank you! I’m going to call my dad and tell him you’ve agreed and set something up!” He quickly jumped off the bed and called his dad. The kids looked at me confused which I laughed “Dads a little crazy right babies “ and they giggled. Ace came back in a few minutes and said we’d be going to dinner at his parents house tonight. And I’m honestly not excited at all. 

It was now my turn to get ready as the kids were already ready and Ace was too, he was wearing a black button up shirt and Dark jeans he looked so handsome , black was definitely his color, well who am I kidding, every color is his color. Adriano was wearing a black shirt like his daddy and jeans as well, and my little girl was in a black dress with a black head wrap bow. I was going to wear a simple black body con dress with some red Sandals as I didn’t want to dress too formal and threw on a black cardigan. We were all ready to go , Ace carries both car seats to his G Wagon (which he bought as a “family car”) and buckled up the kids. The ride over there was quiet but he held my hand the entire way. We reached their house soon enough and I had a knot in my stomach, Ace brings down the babies and we head to the door. Before he knows he looks at me “Dont worry Amore I will not tolerate any disrespect, the moment I hear something we are leaving, thank you again for doing this for my dad. But that doesn’t mean I’ll tolerate any disrespect towards you or my kids, understood?” I nod and he kisses me check, he knocks twice and low and behold, his mother opens the door... oh god help me.
